We need better LB's
Soooooooo.... how was last week's whopping to the Patriots? I wonder if anyone could have predicted that was going to happen? If only someone on this board had enough wherewithal to see something like that coming... I wonder why no one said anything while this whole board celebrated in unison about how awesome we were? I guess because the moment someone did something like that he would be flamed endlessly as being negative and then denied of credibility afterward by people trivializing what he said.
Ok... I am sorry but I needed to do that. You guys are too full of yourselves some times. In all honesty, I hated watching that whooping last week, but I didnt let it get to me. Ok so lets get this out of the way... the Bengals are not the Patriots. The Patriots are still an elite team in the NFL, a Top 5 team, hands down. All of the people talking about New England's play earlier in the year, saying that they had lost "it", don't know about football if they are discrediting Brady and BB ever.
I will put up money that they win the division and will bet anyone game by game that they will win each week... they are far from dead.
The Bengals are another beast all together. The Bengals always play aggressive on defense and can run effectively and score in bunches. These are the types of teams that give us trouble (Ravens-esque teams). I am sorry to say that with the secondary that we currently have, coupled with our paper thin D-Line, we could probably win this game, but our crippled offensive line will make sure that doesnt happen and we will get beat by at least 10 points.
Ted Larsen is hot garbage... he is one of the weakest links on the entire offense. He is one of the reasons Drake can't run and Tanny can't throw. If we cannot find some new lineman to walk in and outperform Larsen, there is no way we win on Sunday.
Don't agree with me? Tell me why I am wrong?
P.S. - I will tell you that the addition of Cameron Malveaux will help the Dline... which is good for us but will ultimately show that the Charles Harris pick was a wash if he out performs him.
