So.... another week gone by and another correct prediction. I know, I know... it wasn't that hard to predict, right? Too bad a lot of people still couldn't see it.

While I always enjoy being right, I never enjoy the Dolphins losing. The good news is that that loss could have been prevented, it was a total meltdown, and now people are saying what I have been saying for some time now... the offense is a major problem.

Well guess what ladies? I actually think we have a good chance of winning at Chicago. Let me sells you why.

Khalil Mack is a beast, and he will most likely be trying to take advantage of offensive line deficiencies. So this all goes with the assumption that we are going to make moves and changes to move Sam Young out of the LT position. We will lose if Tunsil is not cleared and we make absolutely no adjustments.

But if adjustments are made at the oline, this is exactly the type of team we can beat. Yes the Bears are much improved this year, but they arent world beaters. They have a young QB at the helm, and our defense has been playing lights out when not being stabbed in the back by the offense.

If we are able to not **** the bed on offense, we have a decent chance of walking away with a win. I think this team is better than it has played the last 2 weeks, and it all has to do with the offensive line which is crippled at the moment.

I am not going to predict that the oline will get fixed or even how it could be fixed, I will simply say that if it does get fixed, we are the better team, and could go out there and win with relative effort.

P.S. - I know what some of you will say... "Ban him!"... "I am getting tired of these threads"... or "Stop feeding your ego with these posts." But in reality I just want to know why you think I am wrong or right... if you don't have anything to say on that, don't aim it at me, cause I will skip right through it, just to waste your efforts at being difficult and not adding anything to the discussion.

I don't think people can't see it when it comes to picking against the team. I mean is there really anybody on Finheaven that is absolutely shocked we lost to the 1st place Bengals on the road? I just think while fans can subjectively pick against the team they are always going to hope for a win. I really don't think anybody that picks against the Dolphins and gets it right is any smarter than anyone else here. I'm not sure why anybody would think they are.

Here's what I'm going to do, I don't think the Dolphins will win another game all year. When they lose I will start a thread to show everybody how smart I am. When they win I just won't post that week. Boy, I can't wait to look like the smartest guy on a fan message forum. This is really going to get me places.

Dude, are you really gonna do this every week?

The fact that you came here to gloat says otherwise. Your comments in the GameDay thread say otherwise.

It's one thing to think the team is going to lose. It's something completely different to take some sort of pleasure in it. That's a sign of a bad fan.

They’ve lost every week you’ve made one of these stupid threads, so now I just think you’re trying to jinx them.

I really don’t see why being right about your favorite team sucking is a badge of pride for some people. Yay, you were right, you know football! I thought we’d suck too, but I’m not happy about it, and it brings me absolutely no pleasure.

You are not really going out on a limb with these posts. How about every member of FH post similar posts and clog up the msg board with 'We are going to win' or 'We are going to lose' posts every week. Then come back and clog it up even more with pats on their backs for being wrong or right.

Against the Bengals, if the offense didn't crap the bed, we win. I'm sure most on here already figured that out.

I will guarantee 100% we will not lose at Chicago on Sunday

I got to pick Chicago this week. When one of the league's most inept offenses meets one of the league's elite defenses outcome doesn't look so good.

Chicago Defense
Points Per Game = 16.3 (#2)
Rushing Yards Per Game = 64 (#1)
Rushing Yards Per Attempt = 3.4 (#2 tied)
Rushing TDs Allowed = 0 (#1)
# of Pass Attempts Per Sack = 1 every 7.61 Attempts (#1)
# of Pass Attempts Per Interception = 1 every 17.13 throws (#1)
Opponents QB Rating = 82.1 (#6)
Turnover Differential Per Game = +1.5 (#2)

Miami Offense
Points Per Game = 19.8 (#28)
Rushing Yards Per Game = 96 (#22)
Rushing Yards Per Attempt = 4.2 (#16 tied)
Rushing TDs = 1 (#28 tied)
# of Pass Attempts Per Sack = 12.27 (#22)
# of Pass Attempts Per Interception = 27 (#26)
Turnover Differential Per Game = +0.4 (#7 tied)

On paper this is a miss match especially considering Chicago is coming off a beatdown of Tampa who was playing fantastic, followed with a bye week. Whereas Miami is coming off of back-to-back beatdowns. Chicago's defense will most likely be far more physical then NE and Cincy's (OUCH!). Looking at Miami not sure where they will get points other than from defense and ST. Over the past two weeks Miami has scored 10 points under Tannehill (1 TD under Oweiler and 1 TD on ST) and given up 14 points for a -4 point differential.

If Chicago puts 10 points on the board there is a really good chance they still win this game. Considering they are #7 in the league at 27.8 ppg and the physicality of the Bears defense this could game could get ugly, particularly in the 2nd half. Offensively Miami is #29 in the league in 3rd conversion percentage (30.9) while the Bears defense is #7 in the league allowing 33.3% conversion on 3rd downs.

Realistically Miami is going to need to play fantastic on defense and ST, win the turnover battle setting up the offense with a really short field if not score, get a few breaks from the refs and some lucky bounces for the Fins to win. Not impossible, just not likely given the state of where the teams are this week.

The Bears defense will stifle the Dolphins. The defense will do its part until it can't hold any longer, because when you have an offense as inept as the Dolphins, the defense will eventually get tired and overloaded with pressure.
