Not looking good guys. We are a missed 44 yard FG from being 0-3. Our offense has been putrid and our offensive genius of a coach is not making things happen. Of course you blame Julius Thomas for that pick, but I also blame Gase because you call that play with Devante Parker whose confidence is at all time high and not Julius Thomas whose absolutely struggling. Almost like Gase was trying to prove a point there. Thomas has been responsible for two picks this season by not fighting for the ball. I like Gase and what to give him every chance in the world, but we are a terrible team and we will not make the playoffs.

Exactly, impose your will on an already depleted, downtrodden defense. At the same time show them you are the bully by banging it in there with Jay Train. I'll say it again, this offense that they are running just isn't normal.

I agree with those who blame Gase. That was a period in the game where you let them know it's going to be a long day. Plus you give Ajayi a chance to score at home. Nobody was more motivated today.

Things I hated on that interception:

* pass play on first and goal from the 3
* No back formation
* Fade route as primary
* Bad throw
* Lack of effort by Thomas to even break up the pick

I think in the Titans game if the first half the offense is still not scoring or at least moving the ball - don't be surprised if you see Moore come out in the 2nd half to spark the offense.

I wouldn't mind a fade to a TE that is bigger than the CB if it was 3rd and goal at the 1. But at the 3 yard line on first down with Ajayi, it boggles my mind.

Appeared Gase was trying to get more offensive players involved - thus the fade to Thomas. I don't have a problem with that play call Thomas just didn't win that match up against a smaller DB and Cutler let it loose before Thomas realized the ball was in the air.
