As much as it hurts for me to admit this, it is the truth and until we all come to accept this it will not change. I hope I eat my own words but no top tier HC or QB in there right mind would come to Miami. The Ownership and GM have proven in the last 2 years that this is a circus. With the Dez Bryant situation, Tony Sporano, Jim Harbaugh, Jeff Fisher, Bill Parcells etc.. we have not done much right. Manning would change this and would be the saviour in a championship starved fanbase but does Manning want to be the hero is the question......

If we fail again, whats the next step? New GM! New Owner! or draft another qb and wait 3 more years to see if he can cut it (Henne pt2). Do we go after Flynn and hope he is no Kevin Kolb....

Oh well, Peyton if you are out there... This fanbase wants to be cheering for you on Sundays like no other out there, you would be the #18th qb since Dan.....

Lost in all of this is Philbin, he looks like the type of coach players will love playing for.. lets hope he becomes a great head coach

Bottom of the barrel? Sure the Miami Dolphins were below average last season and have been for the last 3 seasons, but last I checked, there's still 14 teams in the NFL looking for their first Super Bowl championships. I know the drought is long, but I'm positive Philbin can lead us back there soon. If Peyton comes along, the better our chances will be. If not, so be it...we move on and hope Flynn, Tannehill, Moore, or whoever our QB next season finally brings stability to the position.

I don't think we're the bottom, a lot of players don't like to go to buffalo either, at least we get players, except Ryan Clark. I'm not sure what's this structure thing is about, I guess it's having the front office split and not working in the same building, which looks like we're not in sync.. that might be a problem, I don't know. Heck I don't know why we changed the structure in the first place. Hopefully that gets worked out and that's not a issue anymore. I'm not sure why our owner is viewed as not good, he'll buy what he can buy. Ireland has made blunders but he seem to have a good draft last year of what we've seen so far, which is his first that we can say was all on him without trying to figure out is it him or Parcells. If we're going to be punished for that, then so be it.. I'd rather build thru the draft any way...we just can't seem to be in the right spot to pick up a decent QB...even 8th isn't high enough..hopefully someone pans out.

The Dolphins lost a good few games last year by a few points. That doesn't make them bottom of the barrel, that makes them snake-bitten and a few good players away from being good. Hopefully this off season will be enough to get them over the top.

You can debate that issue with yourself, No negativity zone is strickly enforced today.

Correction. YOU are the bottom of the barrel.

awe, come on man! you blind homers just KILL ME some times.

no one WANTS to come here anymore, that makes us bottom of the barrell and PERSONALLY ATTACKING another poster over their opinion doesnt change that.

why be on message boards if you cant handle others OPINIONS?

looks like somebody has some growing up to do.

that avatar of yours is what is bottom of the barrel!!

As long as Cleveland has a team we will never be the bottom of the barrel!

The Fins are bottom of the barrell because of a suppossed question our GM asked a WR prospect? Because the Fins fired their underacheiving but hard working Head Coach? Because Jeff Fisher, a coaching candidate loved by the media for his career 500 coaching record, chose to go to a team that he could totally rebuild and have less pressure? Harbaugh? There was no chance he was going to leave California. People need to stop reading the bull**** the main stream media puts out. Where is the chaos? The players played hard, won games, and nobody in the league wanted to play the Fins the second half of the season. I am getting tired of the complainers that want to blame Jeff Ireland for everything and their solutio is to fire Ireland and hope that Ross is going to sell the team.
