I just heard it again, from Ray Lewis, if the Ravens win out they're in.
 
not true. if we win out and cincy gets beat by the ravens we hold the tie breaker over cincy.

week 16- ravens win bengals win, fins win

fins 9-6 ravens 9-6 bengals 10-5

week 17- fins win 10--6

ravens win - 10-6

bengals lose -10-6

ravens win tiebreaker, bengals go to wildcard, fins win due to head to head tiebreaker. simple.
 
If the ravens win out they ARE in, but if we win out so are we. If the ravens win out they win their division, which will put us in a tie with the bengals which we have beaten heads up. GOT IT ??

If ray was telling you about how to get away with murder you listen. But if it involves math, I'd look elsewhere..

Ravens play the Bengals in week 17.

The Ravens win next week and then beat the Bengals. In that scenario the ravens are 10-6, as are the Bengals. Ravens win the division by tiebreak. We get in because we beat Cincy H2H.

Baltimore plays Cincinnati week 17. If Baltimore beats Cincinnati and we beat the Jets, we're tied with the Bengals. We beat them head to head, hence we get the tiebreaker and make the playoffs. Understand?
