Assuming the steelers lose and denver wins today and we handle the saints i heard somewhere we would be the 7th seed making us officially in the playoffs/wildcard as of Tomorrow Night after the win. Who can verify this?

If KC wins today and Miami wins out, Miami is in the playoffs.

It appears you are confusing in the playoff hunt with in the playoffs.

With two games left nothing would be official about the Dolphins being in the playoffs.

Here's something interesting, yes we could be #7 seed on Tuesday. Then we can beat Titans and fall out of 7th because only reason we are 7th is that the Ravens being in there with us at 8-7. They lose next week, we are no longer 7th even with 2 wins, lol. However, what gives us our own destiny is we would knock the Pats out in week 18.

Denver / Vegas game doesn't matter. Should KC and us win, we'd be sitting in the 7th spot.

If we win tomorrow night, that means we hold the 7th seed for now. I would think that then means winning out allows us to keep it no matter what, but could be wrong there.

Las Vegas' conference record is 6-4 and are 8-7 overall.

If Miami wins tomorrow, their conference record remains at 5-5 and they would be 8-7 overall.

According to CONFERENCE RECORDS...not to mention head-to-head, no way Miami leapfrogs Las Vegas tomorrow night.

Am I right?

Well as it stands right now Baltimore and Chargers both have worse conference records and are ahead of them. I think it’s common opponents first.

We do enough in the 8-7 tiebreakers to be the 7th seed with a win tomorrow

No.

Due to tie breaker scenarios. 4 teams tied at 8-7.

They eliminate from divisions first. Chargers eliminate the Raiders.

Then after that, Miami owns the tie breaker with the remaining teams.
