Now this is not what i think will happen.. im just proving how easy we can go 8-8... I gave us loses to any decent team. However i dought we get swept by Buffalo and I dought we lose to Baltimore And Denver so realistically if we play consistent football we could be looking at 10-6 and a playoff berth guys!!! were pulling a Tamp Bay Rays

Thoughts??

I don't see why we can't win 10 games or more this year. 8-8 is definitely the safe bet at this point, but there are definitely 10 winnable games on that schedule for sure!

We should be able to win one of the division games at home at least, and is there any reason to believe we can't beat the OAKLAND RAIDERS?

And Denver can't stop anyone on offense, so Ronnie should have a career day in that one, but their O still scares me.

And we have a good shot of beating the Jets on December. It feels so good to start projecting like this. And I know we need to take it one game at a time... but this is football. Its a 16 game season and you win a couple of games, and you are in great shape.

We are already a 1/4 of the way done with the season, so we win a couple of more, and we're in AMAZING shape

Don't You Dare Put Us Down For A Loss In The Second Jests Game...we Are Going To Win That!!!!

we will beat the ravens. thats the game i am least worried about. very solid defense which hasnt rlly been tested yet this season, and horrible offense and we r at home, i dnt see y we wnt win that game.

My problem with these schedule predictions is the ones you write off can come back to bite you and the ones you think are lost causes will surprise you.

Anyone do this in august?
1. jets (L)
2. Arizona (L)
3) New England (W)
4) San Diego (W)

In fact i would say that at least 50 percent got it completely reversed and another 20 percent only picked one correctly

But the way we have been playing you could change the W's and L's completely around and STILL come out on top with your predictions.

I say 8-8 with a chance to be better BUT- I would bet my house that we dont get swept by buffalo AND the jets this year.

Buffalo probably will win the division but by the slimmest of margins and we beat them at home.

No game is a lock and no game is a definate loss. This is the NFL. However we do have a favorable schedule and more importantly we have a good team. 8-8 would honestly be a dissapointment. If we can win the rest of our home games, that would put us in great shape and only having to win 2 more road games to get to 10 wins.

The key to remember though, is there really isnt a game left on the schedule that should be considered unwinable. No game is unloseable either, but if we play the way we have in the last two games in each game, Id say there isnt a team that would beat us. Doing that is another story however. We must continue to not turn the ball over, play with discipline, and EVOLVE. Stay ahead of the game and keep coming up with wrinkles that keep teams off balance.

Couldnt of said it better myself

Its tough to make predictions. Are we the team that was manhandled by the Cardinals or the team that put up 20+ on New England? It is hard to tell. The next two games will tell us where we are as a team. We need to beat a team we should beat and then play hard against the division leader.

I love contemplating the future too but of course this is the NFL and any given sunday. I do like our chances at getting back at the Green Sludge and at least splitting the division at 3-3 if not 4-2. I also don't fear the birdies from Baltimore with their mediocre offense. We have the running game to get physical with that defense too.

It's never easy to go 8-8 in the NFL. That said, I think it is certainly possible. Here's hoping!

How about we try not predicting an end of season record just yet and take it game by game? Lets just enjoy it as it comes. Been a very long time where we as fans can actually toon in on Sunday and know our team is going to at the very least play their hearts out.
