The Pats are scarier but the Bucs always play horrible in the snow. This game being in the RCA Dome is a huge advantage for the Colts.
Let's face it--teams in the north have an added advantage with the snow. People talk about Miami's "heat and humidity" in September being an advantage, and it is--it wears opponents who aren't used to it down, but you don't have to significantly change your game plan to account for it, outside of perhaps having to substitute more and keep better hydrated.
But when you play in the snow, it drastically changes your gameplan because the passing game is harder to execute if it's windy and with snow flying in your face, and the prospect of fumbling the football is greater, plus it is hard for the backs to keep their footing.
I have a feeling the Pats might not even make it that far anyway. They're good, but I just have a gut feeling.
Besides, perhaps if the Pat cornerbacks weren't playing piggyback on the Colt receivers a few years ago, or at least got FLAGGED for it, perhaps Peyton would have had a chance. I couldn't believe how the Patriots unashamedly interfered with the receivers play after play in the 4th quarter and didn't draw a solitary flag. There's incidental contact and there's mugging. They did the latter.
