We can still clinch this week right?

We beat Buffalo
Minnesota beats Cincinnati
New England beats Baltimore


We clinch 6 seed?

For those saying Baltimore winning tonite didn't affect us, it certainly did. It makes it harder for us to clinch this week, we need Vikings to beat bengals on the road which is doubtful. And we can actually be eliminated this week, something that wouldn't be possible if Baltimore lost tonite.
 
Yes, it is possible to clinch this week. I believe though that it is possible Miami could get eliminated. If the Dolphins lose, the Chargers lose and the Ravens and Bengals win, I think that ends Miami's season.
 
I think that's the best scenario. For one, we clinch.
Two, regardless of who wins Ravens or Cinci in week 18, that team is likely to be 4th seed, because Indy will likely be #3 seed. That way we go to Indy instead of Baltimore, or even Cinci, for game #1. I think Indi is the best matchup for us.

Yep. fins beat bills and that happens we get in. So more fins need now, after the ravens get a record breaking damn kick. Luckily I think chargers will beat raiders so even if fins lose, they can live for another day though I hope it doesn;t come to that.

the Vikings have been playing some good football the last two weeks. there is still a possibility they can beat cincy.
 
everything is possible right now. no game will be easy that´s for sure.

I hate end of season playoff scenarios and would like to see another week of postseason added in lieu of a week of preseason.

Can someone clarify for me. Even if we win, Ravens lose, Cinci loses. How can we clinch this week?

Ravens have the head to head tiebreaker. It would seem to me, and correct me if I'm wrong that apart from our winning out, the next best situation would be for Baltimore to win out and Cinci to lose out so the Ravens carry the AFC North and we win the head to head vs Cinci or simply finish 10-6 and get in with the better record...

These end of season tie breakers make me dizzy.... Always have. Forgive my ignorance.

If Baltimore loses they are 9-6, Ravens lose they are 8-7. If we win we are 9-6. With the Ravens playing the Bengals in week 17 we can still lose and be 9-7. Then if the Bengals win they are 10-6, knocking the Ravens at 8-8 leaving them with a worse record. If the Ravens win they are 9-7 and tied with the Ravens. Ravens win the tiebreaker and win the North. We win with the wildcard against Cincy due to H2H record.

I didn't realize this was a possibility, man that would suck. So sick we're in the mix for the 2 seed, could easily clinch week 16 and just as easily be eliminated week 16.
