It's a shame we couldn't have won today to be in FIRST place next week. Or the Jets game to be 5-1 and REALLY be in good shape.

Thats actually a good point. think about it - we could be 5-1 right now. The Jets game was damn close and obviously so was this HOU game. The Jets won a prayer lob by Farve that happened to go their way and the HOU game - well too many close calls to name there. This team will only get better as the season progresses. We will make the playoffs!

You guys were lucky to be in that game at the end. We dominated play nearly the entire game but we didn't end drives w/ enough pointe to put it away earlier and we can all play the what if game, we really should have been able to beat NE w/o Brady and we should be 4-1 right now but we're not.

You guys have a young team, yesterday was not a surprise. You'll beat teams you shouldn't(like SD the week before) and lose to teams you shoulkdn't(like Houston). Your season will be up and down as these guys learn how to win together. I wouldn't worry about standings this early in the year, just hope you can bounce back against Bal b/c that won't be an easy game.

The only problem to your theory in this post is that The Jets won't lose to Oakland and Miami will have a really really hard time putting points up against Baltimore.
