All the posts prior to this bills game have been something along the lines of how good we were, how we were going to win the division, how we were going to go to the superbowl, how we were goin to put up monster numbers today, how we were going to beat the bills, and how people are underestimating us and not giving us any respect. Well, i think its clear why we havent gotten any respect yet, we arent good enough to get any respect. We certainly have the potential to be a pretty decent team, and we have shown signs of being a decent team, but we are no where near the caliber of the elite teams in the AFC. It would be foolish for any of us to think that we would be mentioned in the same breathe with the Colts, Steelers, or even Chargers. We certainly have a chance to make the playoffs, but until we prove that we can beat good teams consistantly or win on the road no matter how good or bad a team is, we have no shot at winning the division. For us, the fans, to think we can beat the Colts, Chargers or Steelers at this point is a pretty stupid thought. So before everyone on this site starts their rants about how we are going to the superbowl when we win our next game (whenever it is), try and comeback to reality before you make your superbowl posts.

No, I don't think this is about us giving ourselves too much respect but rather it is about NOT giving the other team respect.

Contrary to this thread, tell me how many times we shot our selfs in the foot and gave the Bills all the opportunities in the Bills 1st few drives to score...

There was no overpowering Bills matching up against our players...

We played our selfs out of that game. we gave them every opportunity to beat us, but not because they were out playing us...

I didnt....my posts have all been Miami 8-8 and thats all. That 12-4 post earlier in the week...wow that just about floored me.....we will win 6 at home and 2 on the road....and thats A BIG impovemnt over last year.....deal with it.

Although our schedual is not that of a 4 and 12 team, and we commit far to many penalties and turnovers. 10 and 6 is still possible. We will have 2. 1000 yard backs. An excellent recieving corp. And a better than average Defense. If we can cut out all of the mistakes such as fumbles and penalties, this team can still surprise. One thing .. we have to win games in our division!!!!

Stop with the excuses. It doesn't matter if you didn't make or play our there or you were penalized - all that is a part of the game. Contrary to the opinion of many on here, we simply are not a disciplined team. Disciplined teams do not get penalized 18 times and turn the ball over 5 times.

Foremost, I want to see my fellow Dolphin fans who talked endless trash about the Bills this week to apologize..........and from this point on please shut your mouths. You make the franchise look so bad when you tout after 3 games into a season, especially when you lose to a team you gave absolutely no chance.

Thanks bro. I get so fed up with the direction this site is going when all week long we brag about being atop the division at 2-1 when we literally could've been 1-2 if it had not been for Lance Shulters. And now we're 2-2, we still can't find a way to win on the road and we play like the most undisiplined ball club in the entire NFL. What happened to this discipline Saban was supposed to instill? So far it looks like the only thing we have going for us is exotic play-calling, but even that can't make up for the glaring mental lapses.

Not me...

I'm not gonna look past Buffalo.

We haven't won a road game yet this year. And we haven't beaten a division rival. If we're going to be good team, we've got to prove that we can win in a hostile environment. Prove that we can execute, not commit double-digit penalties and beat a division rival at their house.

We aren't facing Losman. We're facing an 11-year veteran who threw for 429 yards and 3 TDs in a playoff game 2 years ago. The Cleveland Browns were generally a different team when he was at the helm. The same could happen for the Bills and their offense. With guys like Willis McGahee, Eric Moulds and Lee Evans on offense, a veteran QB who's "been there" could do wonders and be that catalyst that the offense has sorely lacked.

Defensively, Buffalo still has an outstanding secondary. Nate Clements has made a career of picking off Miami passes. And it doesn't get much wiser than Lawyer Milloy and Troy Vincent at safety.

Buffalo has been very terrible against the run this year. And now they've lost DT Ron Edwards. So we could see a lot of 8-man fronts. If so, Gus Frerotte and Co. must prove that they can make defenses pay for stacking the box. And with skill players like Chris Chambers, Randy McMichael and Marty Booker on the roster, we'd better damn well do it.

IMO, Miami has a lot to prove today. The pressure is on us to show that we're for real. That we can be consistently good and win games we should win. The fact that these fans are calling for their coaches' heads and predicting a loss shows they're not expecting much. That they've got little/nothing to lose. They're the wounded animal. The outcome of this game, win or lose, will say more about Miami than it will Buffalo.
