I mean come on....we juust almsot beat the saints who blew the jets out last week. We have a strong team. Yes we have some broken pieces that need to get replaced, ted ginn jr and wilson on the defense must be cut. Ted ginn jr cost a touchdown and wilson also.

i think were good and im happy with the progress but it better continue next year and the year after if we regress again :crazy:

Almost counts for nothing in the NFL. When Miami misses the playoffs by 1 game u r gonna look back on this past game and say damm we could of made it but they choked oh well...

Oh yeah, a Damn good team!

Thats why we're 2-4, bottom of the AFC, and just blew a 3 touchdown lead, threw two pick 6's, fumbled twice, called a TO allowed opponent to go on 4th, allowed a 6'0 QB take it up the middle on our goal line D twice...

Oh yeah, damn good! :crazy:
 
They're good, just unexpectedly bad at some things.

What's with the mental lapses? The team does not play disciplined football, at all. That is very, very unexpected.

Where is the mental toughness? Where is the leadership? I'd argue the defense doesn't really have an effective leader. Maybe there are too many cooks in the kitchen, so to speak.

Everything we accomplished last year - gone. The things we were good at, not so much. It's like a completely different team. Sure, I like that we score a lot on offense recently...but what happened to everything we built last year, with mostly the same players and coaching staff?

That being said, we HAVE had a front-loaded schedule. This team will not end up in last place to finish the season. But I'm disappointed that we didn't have the mental toughness and focus to play up to our full potential. This team had such a golden chance to be so much more than a 8-8 team...and they sort of pissed it all away with only themselves to blame.

We got a damn good team, 1 dimensional, but that 1 dimension is strong, the coaching staff failed us yesterday, our WRs failed us, etc. but we have a damn good team, we just dug ourselves into a huge whole, but with how we played yesterday, despite the loss, I feel Miami can beat any team in the NFL
 
I think you have a good team. You're really on the cusp, I think - but it's frustrating. I think we lost something like 6 games last year by an average of 3 points each. If we have a defense that executes, we win at least half of those and have an 11-5 record.

Look like your biggest need is for a reliable corps of WRs. I still like Henne for you and think he'll be very good in just a few years.


Good luck the rest of this season, but don't feel too down just yet.
 
No one in the NFL has played two undefeated teams. Nor the falcons and chargers. **** that, amen brother we are legit. Once we learn how to close out, we own this league. I say give ricky the ball, I haven't seen the dude get anything put positive earned yardage all season. 8 CARRIES REALLY? GIVE HIM THE BALL

A good team, but not good enough. Too many weaknesses and too gimmicky to be an elite team.....For now.

We are fans of a team that has shown a lot of potential to be very good. Of a team that has gone toe-to-toe with the two best teams in the league in the colts and saints. Against teams miami were supposed to get blown by. Fans of a team that has scored over 30 points in every game henne has started in. Miami shoots themselves in the foot more than being dominated by teams. So yes, if they can eliminate the mistakes, there is no reason this Miami team can't be legit. So why don't you get off your high horse and scram.
