No one could be more disgusted than i was after sundays game. But in hindsight, over the past 2 weeks, we got beat by 2 good teams. The bills last week destroyed Tom Brady during most of the game, as they did Culpepper on sunday. Brady had one of the worst games of his career. Granted, Culpepper did look lost out there most of the game, but so did brady. Maybe we just looked at our schedule this year and said no problem.
The jets look better than averyone had expected, The Pats still look as resiliant as ever and, like i said for the bills, they may just have something as well. We play the Ravens yet this year, Chicago, Minnesota and Indy.

I believe the only way we can make the playoffs is if Culpepper is allowed to air it out like he did in Minny. He is a good QB, just has to jell and gain confidence in his recievers. Heck its proven that everyone of the WRs catches and holds onto everything that is thrown TO them (Notice the capitalized "to").

When he is comfortable, that will boost the O-line as well, letting them know that they dont have to block forever on a pass play.

If we win against tenn on next sunday everything will be alright, confidence will be gained, but we have to let culpepper be culpepper and allow him to throw deep.

Oh and we have to run Sweeps with ronnie brown. He is fast, and the outside is where he excelled last year.

The Bills are not a good team. At best, they will be an 8 win team. But I guess this loss shows that we aren't either. We don't have the wealth of defensive talent that we usually had (as our lack on ints would prove) and our offense has talent that has yet to put it all together yet. In other words, we're mediocre, but so are the Bills.

And for that matter, Pitt is a talented team, but we had the game in our hands and poor playcalling (third and 2) and poor play with the game on the line lost that for us. A good team would have won that game in the situation we were in.

We were in both games until we fell apart in the late 3rd and most of the 4th quarter. Last year we dominated teams in the 4th. I think we are a better team than Buffalo but we always seem to find ways lose to the Bills and the Jets. :tantrum:

I will admit Bills are vastly underated. Their D is pretty good.

Steelers are a very good team and we played them tough.

Have to disagree about the Bills. I don't think they are a good team this year. We just laid a turd.

agree with the culpepper airing it out part.
disagree with the brown on the sweeps part. that worked mainly last year bc brown had ricky pounding away on defenses. it is imperative that brown run between the tackles. if u look at the top RBs in the NFL, they all are between the tackles first, take it outside on occasion.

but i do agree with culpepper having to air it out. i think after the steelers game, the coaches may have stressed the "no INTs" thing a little too much. he looked too hesitant when it came to making passes that he normally makes.

the pass interference penalty was horrible and thats how Buffalo got their TD, the refs screwed us two weeks in a row

I wouldn't say the Bills are a great team, they are just better than us.

Hmm, sure looked like a legitimate call to me. While I'm not sure if Allen actually knocked the reciever down, the fact is he appeared to and the ref has to throw the flag. I would have been incredibly angry if that happened to one of our players and he didn't get a flag.

That was a legit call. Will Allen was all over him.

that wasn't a flag, the ball was over thrown and both players fell down. their feet got tangled together, if the ball is catchable maybe you call that but it wasn't. Losman fumbled that ball also but because the refs blew the whistle prematurely our guys didn't try to recover the ball

What was horrible was Will Allen! That was CLEARLY pass interference. He tackled the receiver, never even looked for the ball. That was a humiliating play. Hopefully he tripped himself up and had no choice but to tackle the guy.

Receiver at least touches that ball if allen doesn't drape him.
