Camarillo has a TD on that play but referees stopped the play.. I dont care how lucky it was, a TD is a TD...That same drive, Fasano fumbles. Thats a 14 point swing.. Final score would now be Miami-14 Atlanta 12

Not to mention Fasano doesn't fumble (the second time) or Hartline doesn't get called for the pass interference and we're looking at atleast 6 points... So all in all, its funny to think that AS PATHETIC as we looked (on offense), we still should have beat the Falcons. For those who think Matt Ryan is so good, he missed a lot of open recievers down field...

One positive.. Our run D, and to an extent our pass D looked solid against a "supposedly" explosive offense.

Be realistic please. The Falcons can claim the same things. If Ryan were just a hair more accurate they should have a two sure TD's. Smith is a rookie and overall played well in his first game but he got burned on two sure TD's. Our starting offense played horribly. We have a new center and both starting guards coming off of injuries. They should have been played a lot more in the pre-season than what they were. They will get better but how many games will it take? That is my question.

I'm not gonna lie, I swore we were going into halftime with a 7-7 tie and we got the ball first in the second half.

The Defense really played pretty decent and kept us in that game . . . those damn fumbles just screwed everything up.

There is no way I thought we should have won the game . . . but that is because of a -4 turnover ratio. U can't win games like that.

We COULD have won the game, if we didn't do that . . . we did, and we lost. Bring on Indy.

Smith only got burned once...the other was a sure pick, but he dropped it

I am being realistic.. Referees blew the whistle when they shouldnt have and Camarillo got up and started running for a TD.. that wouldve literally changed EVERyTHING about the game!

woulda' shoulda' coulda'...
We stunk yesterday, and the falcons stunk a little less...

Yeah, they should not have blown the whistle based on the replay, but come on that was very, very close to hitting the ground. They could have just as easily ruled that the replay was inclusive and the call on the field stands. No way we deserved to win that game with 4 sacks and 4 turnovers.

Yes, looking at the boxscore, one would think we won, not talking about turnovers
I didnt get to see the gamw as I was out on a trip today, but I saw a play or 2 that were totally game-givers
The only point I have here, is we made some mistalkes we normally dont (2008) and its only 1 game and we were on the road against what appears to be a very good team. No worries. We will bounce back and still have a very good year!

If they hadn't blown the whistle then someone would have touched him. They blew the whistle dead so everybody left him alone.

You can also look at the fact that Jason Elam missed two field goals and an extra point. We made a lot of mistakes offensively. We were lucky the game wasn't a bigger blow out. Biggest positive of the game yesterday was our run defense was lights out. Lets not make this to be something that it is not, focus on the few things we did right and then get ready for Indianapolis.
