Jakeem Grant thinks so, his motto is......

"Just Run"

Jakeem Grant on the speed of the offense | Miami Dolphins

I mean it's hard to argue, Stills and Grant were 4.3 guys and Wilson was low 4.4s I believe.

Let's see if that means anything once the real games start though.

Speed is good when Ryan has time to let a play develop. Smarts are good too, as in how people say Amendola is great at finding open spots on the field.
All of it is great, bring on Tennessee!

We also have one of the weakest WR corps in the NFL.

When Devante Parker is your number one WR you have a bad WR corps.

I feel like speed is overrated, i dont even think its one of the 5 most important attributes of a good wr.

Not today. The corners these days are to big and physical. All the elite corners in today’s game struggle against speed. You can burn Jalen Ramsey if you’re Jakeem, but he damn sure isn’t out positioning him anywhere.

having speed is great but this is not track and field. This is football and you need to do more than just run fast.

Speed is definitely in the top 5 attributes IMO.. Footwork, hands, intelligence, deception are all important for a great WR but if you don't have speed any good CB will be in your backpocket all day.

I may be way off base but I would think combating big physical corners with quick & agile WR that run good routes would be more effective. If you could run a 5 yard in route and explode of your cut to get separation and hopefully some yac that would hinder some of that physicality. But i'm not going to sit here and say I'm knowledgable on this stuff so what the hell do I know.

Have to disagree as far as 5 most.

Route running is easily #1, no question. Let says hands #2. But if you have that, then speed is #3 for me for sure.

yep route running and hands 1 & 2 #3 quickness #4 agility and #5 intelligence...ill take a 4.6 guy that is elite in these 5 areas. Jerry Rice I believe was a 4.6 guy in the 40.
