The Fins came out flat yesterday. It happens...and it happens to every team in the NFL. Last Sunday after the Fins lost to the Pats...I said to a couple of my friends and my cousin...that losing to the Pats the way we did was going to effect this team next week. We played two close games...2 games we could have won at home...and instead we lost. I was ready for a big let down in Cleveland. Those last two games really took alot out of the players. Right now...what I want is for us to beat the Jets...Bills...and Pats...that's all. I would be happy with that.

I believe in Saban & Co. We will be a much improved team next season...I don't care what all you pessimist "so-called" FinFans have to say.

Next season...don't jump back on the bandwagon...there won't be enough room for you clowns...and just because I said next season...don't think I'm not looking forward to seeing the Fins @ Raiders next week. I'm pumped for that game already.

Go Fins!!!

You nailed it Sal, in retrospect we all should have been expecting this, the New England game was kind of the nail in the coffin for the season.

I'm not saying that is an excuse for not showing up, or an excuse for Saban not getting them ready to play, I think it just explains the poor effort and I think Saban will rid this team of players that quit.

Sorry guys I can't buy that. After 2 hard fought games I would be apt to think that they would come out fired up ready to play. They Know they can compete with these teams, so why would they lay down against the Browns? I doesn't make a bit of sense to me. That first 75 yard run may have taken the wind out of the sails a bit but they did come right back with a "td" that was called back on a penalty. I don't think it was the previous game that got the to lay down but something sure did. Injuries, coaching decisions, something.

Get em, Sal. You could see their energy level on the first play, the lack of pursuit and hustle. Even JT was kind of half-speed. 3-out, the touchdown run, another bad offensive series and that was that.

The Patriot loss effectively ended their playoff hunt, being a road game made it a classic letdown game.

I wish I knew which players quit...who do you think Holliday...Carter...and McIntosh are referring to?

Also, right after I saw Thomas hold his forearm and wrist...I said...oh no this isn't good at all...I wanted to choke Madison...I was so fing pissed off...I thought to myself...if Madison would have interecpeted that ball...our D would have been off the field and Thomas would have never got hurt.

It was right in his hands...I can't believe he dropped that. He sucks...and the bad thing is...he's probably our best cover corner.

P.S. it looks like the Fins are interested in your boy Jay Cutler...the only think is...I wish his first name wasn't Jay :(

Go Fins!!!

Lets hope so, they can join Gus on his bus out of town.

Again, this is how the team was supposed to be all season. A poor team that is nothing more than a 5, 6 win team. Now the Phins give them credit, up to yesterday had played hard in every game and had a few plays gone there way they could already have those 5-6 wins. But to come out yesterday and play THAT badly. I know it was on the road, in a tough place to play, in weather we aren't used to. But they made a 3-6 football team look like the 1985 Chicago Bears. We had TWENTY EIGHT pass yards deep into the 4th quarter, that is absolutely disgraceful. Marty Booker, Randy McMichael and Chris Chambers all had miserable games to complement Sage Rosenfels/Gus Frerotte's poor play. It's BEYOND me why we even bothered throwing the ball with this game Ricky/Ronnie had, but Scott Linehan strikes again....i just dont know what to do with this team, when you think they'll win they lose and play bad and when you think they'll lose they play well and win or lose close. Next week we have the Raiders in Oakland, i expect a loss but who knows with this team......

I may be wrong, but its not gonna shock me if Madison isn't here next year.

I haven't rewatched the game but the way they were running thru the defense I have to wonder if Traylor played well or the other DT's?

Our D-Line got no pressure on Dilfer or Frye. None at all.

Madison is a bum...period.

Daniels is playing okay for a rookie...and he should have never got a penalty for that pass interference call yesterday...that was bull. That's two weeks in a row where he got a penalty that was a very horrid call IMO.

Poole...I hope this kid can play...I really do.

Go Fins!!!

I did notice that, the pressure was weak.

I totally agree with Saban getting rid of the quitters! I don't care who the player is either, SACK UP AND GET YOUR JOB DONE, THAT'S WHY THEY MAKE THE BIG BUCKS!! Bring in someone to compete against Chambers, throw a few more to Lorenzo Diamond who's a good second option at TE. I'm really not feeling good about any direction at QB... We need to get a proven veteran and a rookie to groom. How many people are kicking themselves that we didn't even look at Bledsoe?

Two takes on the QB/Receivers..
1. A good QB makes his receivers look better
2. A good receiver makes his QB look better

Okay...maybe I don't feel like choking Madison anymore...but...I would still enjoy kicking him in the teeth!!!

J/K

Go Fins!!!

That, and I think it was hard for the players to get up for the game knowing that they'd have to rely on Sage Rosenfels to lead them to victory.

Our defense has sucked every week on their first series and our opponents know it!!!!!!!
