Yeah, Im sure it was HIS fault our offense couldnt get the ball into the endzone all but once. That missed field goal by Mare? Yep, Howard's fault too. Reggie Howard single handedly sabotaged this game because of his immense hatred of Miami and all things dolphins.

Remember his poor blocking for the quarterback? And all those dropped catches and overthrown passes? Man, we need to bench Howard and get this team moving.

You can't pin this loss on one player...that said, Howard was consistantly burned during the game. If he doesn't seriously pick it up over the next couple of games, teams will be passing at will to his side.

He won't be with us next year.

Well said. How many times did the Jets convert a 3rd and 8 or 2nd and 20 to this guy's side? And then he falls down during a critical 3rd down? Surtain will be missed.

While I agree that Howard had a very AWFUL game, I wouldn't go as far as saying that is why "we lost the game".

Ive never been a Howard fan. Weve been spoilt with Surtain, Madison and even Vincent going by past CB's and now hes supposed to step up and take Surtains position which aint gonna happen.Im not having a pop at Howard but hes not the answer imo. Daniels and Poole will be our starting CB's in the future but they are still raw.

I am trying to think. Can we pin 93 penalty yards on Howard. How about dropped passes, shoddy offensive line play, big runs up the middle by the opposition.

He was one on one on a fade route with hardly any inside help. If you look how he was lined up before the play Daniels was playing inside to take away a quick slant and had no help on the outside. It was impossible for him to really have any better coverage (he was close - got his hands up in his face). If he had turned towards the ball he wouldn't have even challenged the receiver's catch because he would have been slowed down.
