...if San Diego has a "rebound game" next week and beats the Colts. Often times a good team will play really well the week after being embarrassed by a supposedly lesser team.

I think this is kind of different then a record. Its really something that we are the only ones to ever do. It cool that no one has ever been in the same company as the dolphins when it coems to having a perfect season. I know what you are saying, and I wont be extremely disappointed if the colts do it, but I like being recognized as the only perfect team ever.

I was thinking the same thing. Indy might also start resting some players now that they have clinched home field in the playoffs.

i doubt that i think Dungy wants his name out there as an amazing hC to go undefeated so i say he wont rest

Records are made to be broken just like MArinos TD record will be broken when FAvre breaks it next season

Favre is gone after this year , I dont think hell be back, this year he only came back because he thought they would be competitive.....

The Rodgers era will begin or they will be in the Leinart Derby next year....

Or he could go out as the dumbest HC who blew his chance at the Superbowl by playing his starters 60 minutes in meaningless games.

Imagine we backed into the playoffs and then upset the Colts in the division round to preserve the perfect record!

did you see when Manning tripped and fell in the game Sunday?? I thought Dungy was going to have a heart attack...
Peyton was rubbing his achillies for several plays afterwards.... Dungy may be seriously considering keeping him out for the final few games.....
