Macfadden is playing ,,,, who knows the formation better then him??!!!:foundout:

we might just see our play against us!! lets hope we dont get burned with it go dolphins ,,
dolphins 2345-14 (give or take score ):hi5:

Does Al Davis know what the Wildcat is??????????? I mean he is the one calling the plays, right.

We have the advantage that one of our coaches coached Darren in college, so he might know what he likes to do. That will definetely help us.

Yep, we kind of talked about it before and we agreed, its a good thing miami practices against it more than any team in the league and they have been doing it since preseason.

Bring it on...our guys have been defending againt ronnie brown AND ricky williams

:woot:

Wait, McFadden is playing for sure?

Edit: Nevermind, just read the thread that Russell and McFadden are both playing.

Actually, your 1st point is a good one. Let's rephrase it this way: how much will they have to give, if they're still listed as "questionable", or even "probable" for that matter? The implication is that they'll be playing, but not at 100%.

Personally I think alot of teams might try it. I mean you see it almost every week now in some fashion. Although personally I could see the Pats running it before the raiders. Just for the fact that Ronnie burnt them so bad with it. And the raiders have too many problems at the moment to go with gimmick plays.

If they do advantage Fins. We know how the formation works since our O uses it and of course our D has a shot to practice vs. it. There is plenty of tape of Mc Fadden from time at Arkansas (yes its vs. College defenses but the formation is still the same).

Their offense has too many holes. Their OL needs to worry about blocking in a conventional offense nonetheless a special formation. We use it effectiveky as its only called in certain situations to create a balance shift and momentum change in the flow of the game - not necessarily out of desparation like essentiall they would. M Bush and D Mc Fadden sounds like an interesting combo for it but again if I was the Raiders I would not trust the Wildcat formation behind that OL of theirs.

JaMarcus does not scare me in the least but McFadden is adifferent story. I hope we can contain him. Roth bring your A game. This should be a one dimensional game plan but who knows. As Chris Breman says, "That's why they play the game"

Not to mention we were the first to practice against it in the NFL in quite awhile, as we were the first to use it, and since we seem to use it every week and add new wrinkles i'm sure we still do get plenty of practice against it. I think we'd shut it down if they try it.

the thing that worries me is a trick pas in the wildcat formation...
macfadden has the arm and the ability.. other then that 23433 -3 miami

well it's like my bro said,David Lee used it at Arkansas with McFadden&Felix Jones, and we unveiled it in the pros, and have been practicing against it...so who better than our own QBs coach to know how to shut it down...

NFL is a copy cat league... if you never knew, hopefully ya figured it out by watching sportscenter.... its all over... miami will defintiely face it. honestly though, teams are using it more interesting than ever. San Francisco has it all wrong for example.

personally, i want to see teams against miami run it, and then watch our d-line contain their gaps, LB's free totheir holes, and containment on the ends with safeties reading the play deliciously.... its almost thanksgiving... i want some early STUFFING

Who knows the formation better than him? My guess would be the people that designed it.

My question is have the raiders used it at all this year? The team is in dissoray i doubt they'd be able to spare any time in practice for somthing like this, especially with a recent coaching change. Now if they were working on it since like training camp like we have been that would be a different story. But somehow i doubt that.

Even with Mcfadden taking the snap, this absolutely the last team in the league that they would want to try it on. They would be wiser to stick to their base offense. It wouldnt make sense for them to waste time on it for this week.

Advantage: Dolphins. No Question.

Yes, but what would the score be, if there were 12 (1 inch) Coach Sporano's playing against the Raiders??? Cause I think they would be a close one!

Sporanos 21,356
Raiders 9
