We Must Copy the Patriots to beat Buffalo

Well, considering we don't have a running game, should be easy.

This is a Philbin coached Dolphins team and with that there is no chance in hell he takes advantage of Buffalos weakness so do not expect to see quick strikes the way NE trashed them.

What running game? We'll trow it 45 times tomorrow. On defense it would be good to cover gronk ffor s change

Copying the pats would be very difficult. It would be much easier to just cheat. Oh wait...............

Tannenhill is shaping up to be a very good quarterback, but he is not near Tom Brady's level right now.

We don't have Tom Brady nor do we have a quarterback that can audible, kill, or hot route at the line (Lazor's fault, not Tannenhill's)

Funny thing is when JJ took over Marino wasn't allow to audible. Their reason was they wanted the oline not to have to think very much. JJ wanted them to charge off the line but of course it didn't work as we couldn't run it.

Agree with above, this game will test Philbin as it relates to motivation after two ugly games and a big game against a divisional foe. If they come out flat and install a poor game plan I think the staff is doomed. Implosion will follow.

I have reached a point where I do not expect anything else.

One almost overlooked aspect of the Pats game is their I formation power run game. Use very sparely but really, really effectively. Creating doubt is the front 7, making them think, takes the passing attack to whole new level.

Copy the Pats? Copy the Pats offense ability to create doubt, that's the real copycat.

I agree that you should throw quick, short passes. But converting every throw without fumbling or throwing a pick is going to be harder than it looks.

I think we're going to see Lazor have to maximize all options of this offense. Short throws like he tends to employ would probably be best to try and be productive against the blitz, but too many all game and the defense is going to congest the short-field.
We need some deep balls to Stills, maybe sneak some long throws to Sims (if Cameron's out) and Matthews. Lazor needs to play the whole field. I'm almost getting nightmares from seeing passes deflected at the line by good D-Lines that Tannehill faces. Too many right over the line may just be too risky.
