Any of these would be a good pickup, now or in the future:

- Tyron Smith, Dallas
- Mitchell Schwartz, Kansas City
- Jack Conklin, Tennessee
- Trent Williams, Washington

I would still take
Joe Thomas, from Cleveland. He's been one of the best. And is wasting in Cleveland.

Heck, I'd take Richie Incognito to help light a fire-up this O-line. He's been doing quite well in Buffalo.
... Need some fire !!

Thoughts on these, or any others that would help us ?

It's not realistic to expect to get top players from other teams... especially ones signed long term or a rookie unlikely to ever hit the market. We need interior help and every single person you listed is a tackle, literally the only position we might be set at, other than Incog, who will be 35 when next season is underway.

We know we need OL. Apparently our front office hasn't figured that out in the last 5 years.

Guard has to be a high pick (1-3) next year. I hate going OL high but our best players depend on it (thill Ajayi)

We have good guards in house to replace steen and bushrod. Put asiata and davis in and I guarantee you the guard play and our run game gets much better. It's amazing how much everything gets better when you do addition by subtraction, perfect examples the two guards last year and tankersly for maxwell. When you take a - in 2 spots and they become +'s, it completely changes your whole offense. Everybody else can see this but Gase, we need better backup guards for next year and better backup ol period but we have good starters in house. I have no proof other than how strong and good of a run blocker asiata is when we need strength more than anything there and how well davis has played as a backup. Imagine if our guards created holes for ajayi instead of him having to get through 1-3 guys before he gets to the los every play. I seem to remember something similar happening last year, but why do what works?

I'd bet money, if i had any currently lol, on asiata and davis being big improvements on steen and bushrod if gase ever makes the obviously right changes.

No, our personnel people just ignore the guard positions every year and only look in the bargain bin for sub par players.

Ignore the position? If you are complaining about the team, at least state some true facts... We signed Ted Larsen as a free agent to start at LG. We drafted Asiata who was a great prospect coming out of college. We stilll have like 3- 1st round picks in James, Pouncey and Tunsil.
Bushrod started at LT for the Saints when they won the Superbowl.
Don't forget the injury to Craig Urbik as well...
What else do you want?

This line of thinking is why we are in the position we are now... we can’t just keep relying on low depth / career journeymen to fix the OL.

Asiata has power and his moments of good in the preseason, but apparently isn’t ready yet. He’s also already 25

Davis is listed as a G/T, he was okay filling in for Tunsil, but how would he do at guard? Does he have the power to hold up? I think him and Eric Smith can form some very nice depth at tackle for us in the future

Can brendel truly replace pouncey? If not, decent center backup depth and maybe guard too?

So in my opinion- we need to cut Pouncey, bring in a new center, and probably 2 guards, one of the guard/center being a day 1/2 pick

3 quality OL in one offseason may be a lot to ask if you’re the dolphins

Seem to me like we should be in a good position to find a top shelf interior lineman or 2 next year, since we'll be going in without other areas of dire need - like LB this past year for instance.

Is this one of those "Captain Obvious" commercials?

Dear OP, yes it would be great if we could get the best linemen in football.....

Now back on Planet Earth, I am still looking at a Bushrod & Steen, Attorneys at Law....

It's not unrealistic to say we will get to see a lot of Brendel at some point in the season. That should lessen one question mark. I'm optimistic on Asiata. Rumors were he needed upper body strength and conditioning. One year can fix that. So my most optimistic take is Miami will need one OG and depth. Brendel, once more, should show what he has this year. If I'm a betting man, I'm not, Miami looks for an OG in off-season, plans on Asiata next year, and will evaluate Brendel this season. I don't see 3 new OLmen.

Again, relying on depth / late round / undrafted guys isn’t a recipe for success... it’s just hoping this band aid sticks and is better. Look I’m hopeful for our young guys too but that’s not a good solution to the problem... doing essentially nothing

We need to continue to invest in our Oline. We should dedicate a top draft pick (at least one in rounds 1-3) for it. It's not popular with the fans because they dont dance in the end zone and score fantasy football points but they win games.

For clarity, I didn't say what I wanted; I said what I expected. I would like a top third OG

I think we should also go after:

Derek Carr, Raiders
Carson Wentz, Philly
Russell Wilson, Seattle
Dak Prescott, Dallas
