We need to Draft or sign a playmaking Safety

I love Yeremiah Bell and think he is great at stopping the run but at some point we need another guy back there that is a playmaker. Similar to Reed/Polamalu/Rhodes. Someone that has the speed and coverage skills to take the other teams TE. Maybe its Clemons maybe not..Today Manning and Clark exposed our linebackers/safeties. I don't think Bell and Wilson can play together...we NEED some speed and ball hawking skills

I agree. Eric Berry from tennessee is what we need.That could be one "good thing" about having a high draft pick this year..I would still rather see us make the playoffs, however..

I would go ape shiet if we got Berry. I didn't think we would make the playoffs this year because of our schedule and I am almost sure now. At this point we should be targeting Taylor Mays or Eric Berry

Berry would be a huge upgrade over what we have currently. We are getting murdered by tight ends thus far and I am tired of seeing Wilson and Bell miss easy tackles that turn into huge plays

Not sure off top of my head which Safeties were left..But I'm sure they have a plan for White. Maybe they aren't comfortable with him running with the ball yet

Both Wilson and Bell have missed a few tackles so far this season ... and if i'm not mistaken 2 of these missed tackles directly resulted in TD's ... in the ATL game it was on the Gonzalos TD and in the Colts game the 1st play of the game ... if the tackles are made in both games ... Miami is 2-0 ... enough said!!!

Taylor Mays ia a genetic freak and a workout warrior..Unfortunately I dont think it transfers onto the field like it should..Eric Berry=Ed Reed type player IMO.

Wilson is obviously horrid. Even on the final Colts TD he was passive and allowed himself to be blocked 25 yards downfield.

Not that we could have stopped anything if he'd made the tackle, but it probably would have made our final possession look less inept, not as much time to waste.

I never understand the praise for Yeremiah Bell. I guess it's because I remember the Scott/Anderson days. In fact, I remember last year Dick Anderson called out Yeremiah Bell, saying he needed to step up instead of merely being labeled a top safety.

And I wonder if Peyton Manning was as concerned with Channing Crowder back there, instead of Zach Thomas? Every time I see Crowder he's running smack toward our end zone, for no apparent reason.
