Look at our team. On offense we have nobody but maybe Booker when the bears had a great record in 2000 i think, that has been on a winning team.Sure Chambers and McmIke have been on 9 to 11 win teams. But i remmeber that 2003 ten win season felt like a huge waste w/o playoffs. Who on our offense has been to the playoffs?? Chambers once in 2001.

I think Brady Quinn or a college QB who has won games would be a good fit for this team. Even if he doesnt start, just a guy who has tasted winning in his career.

the fins already drafted a qb in this years draft. his name is culpepper. It wouldnt make much sence to draft a qb in both the 1st and 2nd rounds.

I think we need more winning posters, after reading this.

Players dont need to be on winning teams to win. There is no magical winning technique or inherant skill involved. It's playing the damn game.

First of all...he wasnt drafted.........he was traded for.........and it would make sense to draft anybody that the organization feels can make an impact:wink:

if you want to get technical about it, yes, he was traded for a draft pick.

The fins traded a 2nd rounder in 2005, a 2nd rounder in 2006, and then a 6th rounder in 2007, all on diffrent qbs.

im not saying... im just saying.

EDITED, because google is my friend.

Joey Harrington was as much or more of a winner in college as Brady Quinn. So what guarantee is there that brining in a college "winner" will have any effect at all?

We need the best combination of talent and continuity which we can achieve. We have a lot of talent . We DON'T have consistency, which seems more likely to come through keeping as many parts of this offense together as we can.

What MIAMI needs is a sour, mean, LT who can run and pass block like an animal!

I believe that the trade for Culpepper only involved our 2nd rounder in last years draft. We still have all our draft picks in the years draft except for the one we used for Joey in the 6th round.

Having playoff experience doesn't give one a winning attitude nor does a QB who has won big games in college breed team success. For all we know Brady Quinn could be the next Rick Mirer. What the offense needs is a true leader or two. Someone whom the players can look to and know he will put them on his back and carry them to victory more times than not. Culpepper wanted to be that person but too many thing happened for him to really lead this team.

brady Quinn is a top 3 we wont getg him an QB is our least problem joey is ok sometimes and next year culpepper willl be back + ronnie brown is getting better .and we dont need a QB we need a O-linemen or a 2ndary player

we need to forget about trading randy and chris and deal with the guilty party who is 95 % of the problem and that person is mike mularkey for he is responsible and if we eliminate him we have corrected most of the problem.:cooldude:

I think that's what he means by "winning", a QB who is used to winning games that other players on the team will look up to and rally around e.g. a leader.
