After 10 games into the season, we and the coaching staff have idea as to what areas of the O-unit needs improvement. So there are questions that arise after 10 weeks.
Running back is out of the question, Ronnie has shown his talent and skills, where he will be a dominant player in years to come.
We all have our ideas of what positions we need improvement. Qb is a must, but should that be all? We do have a "back up" QB as a starter, something we have had over the last 5 years.
Our OL has improved with the help of "the miracle man" named Houck. But can " tricks with mirrors" be a longtime fix? Are we really better at every position in the OL or will our opponents find the answers to it?
Our TEs, starting with McMike, does not fill me with a lot of confidence. He can be a playmaker and make the costly mistakes at the same time. Consistancy has been an issue with him, as well as his personal issues. I don't know if he will get his personal issues squared away, I hope I am wrong on this but I feel that his personal life will be the reason he will leave the team. He was also lacking in blocking abilities til Houck took him under his wing.
Our WRs, starting with Chris and Booker and only Chris and Booker simply have been incosistant at route running, dropping balls, and fumbling while carrying. They have not taken advantages of single coverages and small CBs. Neither of them have caught 45% of those ball thrown to them, though the 3rd string has done well over 60 %. Aside from one time with Marty, neither of our top WRs have come up big when these last few games were on the line. So is improvement in this area also in the coaches mind?
So in closing, other than QB, where do we all see the changes coming to in the Offensive side?
