As a life long Dolphin fan It kills me to see us losing so many games at home.
Ownership wonders what they need to do to increase fan base. Simple - Win more at home.
I support the Fins win or lose, but it is much easier to make a 4 hour ride to the game if I feel I am going to be happy on the way home.

Philbin 10 - 9 at home.
Sparano 13 - 18
Cameron 1 - 7

This doesn't cut it.

The M on the Dolphins helmet stood for Mediocrity. End that first and then the wins will multiply at home.

Seriously becoming concerned about this curse thing. The ways we find to lose at home make me even more concerned.

That's a good point. Defending your home turf is the first step to making it to the playoffs. The slow starts take the crowd out of it. The inaccurate pass to Hartline turned out to be huge. This team is just not that good, starting from the coaches all the way down to the turf keepers.

Dolphins haven't had a home field advantage since they left the Orange Bowl. Crowds at Sun Life are life less and contain way too many opposing team fans. It is what it is.

Last year we were 2-0 heading into the home opener and the stadium still wasn't packed so it makes no difference. Sports in south Florida is dead, not one team gets any fan support and no one cares.

I disagree. Watching from home, the crowd was the loudest I've heard them all year. There are opposing team fans at all games...I see as many Dolphins fans at away games as I do opposing fans in our stadium. The problem is senseless losses and letting the fans down at home. Ross knows this and Philbin and Tannehill are probably on a short leash. Even if they make the playoffs and keep losing at home, I think they're both done. BTW, paid attendance was over 70,000 that's probably a top 10 league turn out for week 6. I'll bet only 1 in 10 was a Green Bay fan.

I suggest expensive patchwork every 5 years. Every one will be the equivalent of a new stadium.

Disregard that it was pathetic when new.

It does not cut it Dude. You are right on man.

Here is the rub.

We need a owner with balls and a real check book (see Jerry Jones Robert Kraft) build a true Dolphin Stadium, with a Shula Statue, and Marino Statue, and have it be a modern Orange Bowl with a GOOD location, not that current piece of crap in Miramar. Until that happens, same old ship.

I remember when we made the playoffs with Lamar Smith and had a home game.....couldnt sell out.

not enough time for Indy fans to get time off of work.

Every game there are old ladies in the stands in bunches standing up and making the losers next to them look really sorry ass.
