Now, I know reading comprehension is a struggle here for many, so I will say it slow.

We ran the ball 20 times in the first half. Not shockingly the line protected Tannehill, since the defense had to respect the run. We were gashing them for 5 ypc. So they couldn't pin the ears back. And Tannehill looked awesome leading Miami to a 17-3 halftime lead.

Sherman ran the ball 6 times in the WHOLE SECOND HALF.

He should be fired, today. He does this every game. We have something that works and he constantly goes away from it.

Blame Tannehill all you want haters, but the fact is when we had balance, he was untouched. As soon as Sherman went all pass crazy, we give up 5 sacks in the 4th quarter.

Facts are facts.

And that is on Sherman.
 
Agree 100%. I think I'm finally coming around to the fact that Sherman is the biggest part of our problems. Philbin is too if he can't nut-up and fire him.

2nd and 2 at the NE 19 with a two TD lead, we throw it - incomplete, and then 3rd and 2 we get sacked. Why are we not sticking with the run there?!?! Could've put the game away, but that subsequent missed FG completely shifted momentum and 10 offensive plays later it was a tie game!
 
we didnt run in the 2nd half because the pats loaded up against it and went blitz crazy. sherman shouldnt be fired for not running more he should be fired for his unimaginative offense and inability to come up with an answer when his base west coast offense gets pressured. there is no excuse for not being able to execute a hb screen.

When we are averaging 5 ypc, it's a pretty safe bet we can pick up 2 yards in 2 carries.

Sherman is a moron.

A draw murders a blitz, and with Miller's speed he can take it to the house against a blitz. But we didn't even try.
 
We stop running the ball because we hate success...
 
They had no answer for Miller in particular. He got 5 carries in the second half.

Just ridiculous.

Please fire Sherman, today. Anybody could do better.
 
We did nothing to counter their blitzing....nothing!!!!! Run a draw play, throw a screen, I dont care just do freaking something!!!
 
I usually don't question specific plays but you can't go away from what's working.

It's the failure to adjust. You have seen the dolphins coaching staff fail to adjust time and time again.

After 3 wins teams figured out how to play the fins and the coaches still can't counter that. It's a sign of piss poor coaching. I never liked Philbin but how they came out completely unprepared vs Buffalo really showed what a bad coach he is.
 
I definitely agree, it's a shame that there holding Miller back. In the right system he would be a stud, dude us a Clinton Portis clone

nobody runs draws anymore... the double A gap pressures are pretty popular now and a draw is likely to get eaten up.
