This guy is better than Rice in his prime, IMO. 2 catches for 100+ yards already?!? Barring injury he will be labled the top 1-2 ever with only Jerry Rice to debate about. I would have traded Chambers our 2nd (acquired from KC) and any and every pick (within reason) to get him on our team. How about using a couple of the picks Rick Spielman pi$$ed away (2nd for Feeley, 3rd for Lamar Gordon, etc.,etc.,etc.) and landing a sure thing for a change? Just think Moss/Boston/Booker/Welker/Gibson (to fill in when needed). Not to knock Chambers, he is a very good NFL receiver, and I REALLY hope he has his "BREAKOUT" year now!!! But Randy Moss is not someone you miss out on when you are rebuilding/reloading, JMO.
 
It still wont get the Raiders a SB.. Just some nice highlights.
 
Before this trade was made we didn't have that much talent depth. Whe you are rebuilding like we are, one great player won't make up for the 3-4 good ones we need at different positions with picks we would have traded.

He is a freak of nature and probably the best WR I've ever seen. I was almost surprised tonight when he didn't catch that pass while he was tripled covered.
 
Half the people on here did nothing but down talk Randy and talk about how bad of a person he is. They all sounded like the damn media had brain washed them into believing he was horrible

As great as Randy Moss is he is a headache on and off the field (why do you think he dropped so far in the draft AND the Vikes gave up on him.)

Yah, do whatever we can to get him...

Give up a 1st (and more) and a player and have a reciever with a HUGE cap hit.

How would adding another reciever help the Phins? This is a defensive football team. Adding Moss would have meant we could not have signed who we did AND we'd have no running back (because we would have had to give up our #2 pick.) Yes, we'd have Ricky but, not until week 5 AND we did not know he was coming back at draft time.

If Saban had traded the farm for Moss I would have questioned his sanity.

We don't have any Q.B.'s to get our CURRENT recievers the ball...what the hell would we do with Moss?
 
wow....I think this is one of the first threads I've been in here where almost everyone disagreed with it....lol
