i don't think we should give up a lot to get leinart...if we finish with only 5 or 6 wins we should be drafting in the top 10. every year a qb surfaces that will rival leinart for the top qb taken in the draft! for instance we should not give away picks and players that could help us to move up and get linehart when we can take quinn, pinegar or cutler with our 1st pick....without given up picks! no matter what rookie qb we get he will have to learn under someone! same for rivers he does not have any experience as a starter..we should not give up much more than our first for him(which would be just like drafting a rookie qb with the pic).

how much longer would you have Rivers sit? if he's brought here, it's to start...
 
We can get a quality QB in the 2nd round this year because of how many there seem to be. I say we shoot for defense first, then a qb, the OL.

We will get our starting QB in FA this year, we may draft a young guy in the later rounds or if we can steal somebody we may draft them earlier. I think this offseason we are going to get a big FA WR and QB.

I would say LT first round. I thought we'd be ok just grabbing a promising project int he 3rd or later, but the way McCintosh was getting his lunch handed to him every other play, and with as many impact LT's as there are in the draft, I think we should use our first on that. Too bad Houston is amost a lock for the Brick. I would love to have him. I think Winston would be a good pick if available.

I agree on the WR. there are a lot of guys that would help. I would love to see Antonio Bryant come to Miami. Plus, Kelley Washington has all the makings of a very good #1 WR, and he is a RFA. I think it would be a good idea to sign him as a #3 and work him into the top role. There are a lot of options in the WR bunch available this year.

Sorry we don't need quality, we need FRANCHISE!!!!!

If by Linehart you actually mean Vince Young then I am with you. If not I would say that Linehart would be option 2 in the draft if we are lucky enough to have that choice.
