We Should Sign Goodman to an extension

I am leaning towrd the extension side. He has been solid late in the year and has seemed to be shutting his man down

I say sign him if he takes a small offer otherwise he really is not that good. This was the friggin rams,he was horrible the previous week. i would not resign him except to the minimum.

I regard him like Crowder, only less so. He's gotten roasted, but, he will come back the next week. Bottom 1/4 contract offer to stay. Other than that? Hey, go test your water.

i agree but we still have to get someone else too. i feel like he is a true nickle corner. but he has been our best corner the past two months HANDS DOWN

Played a great game and needs a new contract..

Yes, I am getting the butterflies at the excitement/potential for a SB run next season. The SB will be in none other than M-I-A-M-I, FL!!!!

If we make the playoffs this season....SB contender is the next step.

I am really liking what I am seeing develop here. I believe that next year our entire team will be ready for a SB push.

Yes, if we go ahead and re-sign Andre Goodman and use either our 1st or one of the two 2nd round picks on a CB, then we will be set with Will Allen, Andre Goodman, the 2nd rounder, Jason Allen, and Michael Lehan as the five CBs.

We also need to re-sign Yeremiah Bell and sign a stud FS to start opposite Bell. We would then be set at Safety with Yeremiah Bell, the FA pickup, a 3rd or 4th rounder, and Tyrone Culver as the 4 Safeties.

Even if we should sign a big name CB to be our #1 CB to start opposite Will Allen...we still should re-sign Goodman as he would be a good backup should one of the starters go down to injury (as is common in the NFL) and not ruin our SB aspirations should injury hit our top new FA pickups or say Will Allen...

Whoaaa now .. best corner?

I actually think he's been our best defensive player since the broncos game (thats not saying a whole lot, I know). I mean he's not making many big plays but he's doing a pretty good job of covering his guy without taking many penalties. I thought he played fantastic today.

A couple of games is not worth re-signing him with a raise right now. There will be better available CB's in the off season. No need to do today what you can put off until tomorrow.

he's good but not consistent. against elite receivers he gets exposed bad. i wouldn't sign him to a huge multi year deal but i'd keep him around as a nickel back for another year or so.

I'd resign him for like 2 years/ $3 million or something - nothing too heavy on either side
