Would people stop crapping on feeley for last year misery. Players didnt show up on both sides of the ball. With better COACHING, and a few upgrades... we'll make PROGRESS this year.... not win a SB.
Although some may not believe it.. Feeley is likely the best QB on the squad.... NO not in the NFL... but that WE have. There isnt many better options. Drafting a college QB is a crap shoot... and everyone knows it... Be PATIENT... perhaps WAITING for a better player.. is not necessarily a bad thing. Cripes! RELAX!
 
feely should panic i would panic too if i knew i was going to get smashed by 300lb men every time i hike the ball
 
Another classic thread by kingfin, who's lack of basic football knowledge (and the english language) is astounding.
 
AJ has had no time to show what he can do. Give him some protection and then we can make an honest Judgement whether he can get the job done or not. We gave him 8 games and we gave Fiedler like 5 years. Be fair to Feely and give him his due time to prove what he can do. I'm a fan of drafting a QB as much as the next guy, but i want to give A.J the same chances that we gave Fiedler.
 
Feeley had Chambers,Booker,Derius,Mcmichael and #2 pass defense on nfl
Started 8 games 1893 passing yards 11Tds 15 Ints 53% pass completion

Brian Griese had no o-line, no running game, 3 Wr's that were new to the team and no tight end and and #1 pass defense
Griese started 10 games had 2632 yards passing 20 tds 12 ints 69% pass completion plus Gruden has one of the most complicated offenses in the NFL.

Griese adapts to bad situations he has a quick release Feeley takes too long to make decisions.

Hey Canadianfishfan, don't waste your typing skills on these guys, they just don't get it, these people only watch the QB, they don't watch the OL play and actually see what happened.
I'm not saying AJ isn't to blame for some of the mistakes but with some of these biased fans would have you beleive he's the sole cause. :rolleyes:

No matter how many times you write it, they have their narrow opinion on it.

Now compare Griese's stats when he was with the fins. Maybe Brian had a better system to work with in TB.

Feeley is gonna have a break out year a la 'Favre' and all you doubters will be swinging on his *You know what's*.

Trouble beating out Fiedler? He never got a chance to compete. If you have been following the Dolphins at all the last 5 years, you'd know that Ears had a picture of Pornstache making out with a goat in a Ft Lauderdale petting zoo and if Ears was "beat" out by anyone, he'd go public with it and ruin Pornstache's lovely marriage.

Bottom line is, Wanny NEVER gave ANYONE a chance to beat out EARS. The two were joined at the hip. He was destined to live or die by Jay and he died. So ridiculous when you think of the QB's we coulda had.

I remember Wanny saying during one off-season when Trent Green was available and Wanny said "What can Trent do that Jay can't." Jay was his guy and that was that.

AJ has this year to prove he's the man or else sayonara to him too.
