Game time temp will be around 87, and the Florida sun will be bearing down on those black Saints uni's. When I look at the way our o-line is smashing teams, along with the play of our 2 pro bowl backs, I'm not nervous about this game at all. Is this the Raven's D from last year we are playing? Far from it..

If we lose the game I don't see them putting up more than 24points to beat us.

I think we win 34-17. Thoughts?

I dont think temperature is gonna make a difference.. Brees is too good of a QB to let something like temperature affect him.. And shockey trains in Miami

Wow....34-17 ????

It's right here I would have told a Jet fan to please put the crackpipe down, but I won't tell you that because the Dolphin fans have treated me well.

But really, 34-17, huh?

The Saints train in the South Louisiana heat and humidity....so I say the weather is a wash.

I think so,, not even hitting the pipe. lol I think this game is gonna be alot like the Colts game in terms of time of posession and our run game. Everyone knows the Saints are stellar on O, but I think we smash their D with R&R. Due to the fact we play them during a warm day, I think we wear them down and pile up points in the 4th quarter.

That's . . . pretty . . . bold? We're going to have a very difficult time keeping them under 20. I mean, we'll have a tough time keeping them under 30.

Come on man, if we win its not going to be by 3 scores.. If our D doesnt show up and we cant run the ball, it'll easily be 34-17 Saints... Our D better show up

I'll take a win by 1 point, but I think we are gonna wear that Saints D out and win big. The Brees factor may bring the score closer. I think we win by 7 or more. The only way I think it's a close game is if they win.

So true, by the fourth their oline and dlines will be shot from the heat and the pounding we put on them, they haven't played a road game against a team as physical as ours...

I say we score about 27 though, keep them in the low 20s range

You guys realize the Saints are from southern Louisiana right? I know they play in a dome, but don't they have offseason camps outdoors? I can't see the weather being a big factor. And I really think some people on this board are underestimating the Saints defense. Not saying they are world beaters, but they have looked impressive. It's not like our defense has shown much of anything this year so I don't see how we can just notch this up as a win.

OTA's outdoors is nothing compared to playing 60 minutes in a regular season game.

When we hold the ball 38+ mins and run it at them 40+ times it won't matter where they practice. What happened to us last year in DC? Washington had our D tired in the 4th from battering us all game. I thought we looked good until the second half in that game.

We can hold the ball for 45 minutes a game, but if we give up a TD every 4th or 5th play we still won't win. I think we can win the game and I think it will be very hard fought, I just don't think it's realistic to say we are going to hold them under 20 and dominate their defense.

I have to say, using your theory that the warm weather is going to be the difference....the Dolphins should go undefeated at home, year after year.

That isn't the case. I travel in Florida frequently. Miami enjoys a nice ocean breeze even in the warm weather. New Orleans has stiffling humidity combined with hot weather.

Believe me when I tell you the Saints won't lose because of the warm weather. They may lose, but not because it's hot outside.

have you ever sat in dolphins stadium? breeze? you mean 900% humidity, it bakes you. it def can be a factor for your defense, especially if you do not have a rotation on your dline (i dont know if you do)
