I wanted Culpepper, but not for a 2nd round pick. Wow. I'm shocked.
I know we didn't have a passer since Marino, but hey coach knows better. We need somehow to get a 2nd back. A bummed knee qb who will throw in october.

Culpepper stats-
Yards- 20162 comp%- 64.4 TD- 135 INT- 86 QB rating-91.5

Brees
Yards- 12348 comp%-62.2 TD-80 INT-53 QB Rating- 84.9

So, we get a slightly more accurate passer with a higher rating for a 2nd round pick who will restructure his contract and not whine for 10 mil a year and it's a waste? HAHAHA.

There's no shoulder issue or arm issue with Culpepper and he'll be in the SAME OFFENSIVE SYSTEM!!

Remember the last time the Dolphins traded a second round pick for a quarterback? AJ Feeley. I think they did just a little better this time.

Why are there so many upset people on the board?? Daunte is the best quarterback this team has had since Dan Marino!!

So our 2nd round pick was gonna be a top 5 QB (in the entire league) in his rookie season!:shakeno:

We drafted Roth last year in the 2nd round. He might turn out to be good. I hope he turns out to be great! But I would trade him immediately for Culpepper. And laugh my a$$ off doing so. 2nd round picks are overrated. Sometimes you get a gem, sometimes you get a dud and usually you get an ok player. Culpepper's been a star and could be again. This IMO was a nobrainer.

This PICK is ****en BS it sucks.....Unreal move This will not improve the team at all for atleast 07....Bad move Nick!

This is hard to follow.

Forget about the bad year Culpepper had. He will be back. WE finally have a franchise QB and as long as he passes the physical we should be good.

Culpepper is #5 in all-time QB rating in NFL history...and the Dolphins were mainly gunshy because apparently Brees' injury is much worse than Daunte's. I think this was a no-brainer and a great move for the Fins.

Culpepper was not what I wanted but now that he is here I will root ffor him like crazy. He may not start until halfway through the season, but when he does I think we will do well (or at least that's what I'm hoping). Please, please, please be the Culpepper of 2004 and not the one of 2005!

Now come on, the only reason Culpepper has those stats is because Randy Moss attracts quadruple coverage and has a 12 foot wingspan to rein in all of those errant throws. :D

DC is our QB now and there is no place for second guessing around here. If you don't like well too bad I guess you'll just have to suck it up and deal with it.

lasst time we traded for a second round pick we got AJ feeley. This guy with his legs cut off is better, Your all insane this is a great move.. and it only goes through PENDING a PASSED PHYSICAL!!!!
