We will look like the Seahawks if We dont make the right call.DRAFT EDDIE GOLDMAN!!!!

Very likely the pick.

Shelton will be gone.....no mike backers worth the pick....no corners...no safties after Landon Collins.

I think other potentials would be Lael Collins...who would start immediately at left guard....could move to left tackle if Albert went down and eventually replace him at left tackle.

Malcolm Brown at DT also.

Nice start to re-build the defense. Definitely could see Goldman in Miami.

gee, I hope thats not all the big plays he made. particularly against the Cuse.

Didnt see much of him vs. Oregon. I know that offense makes a DL dissapear in a game but not stout on goalline either.

I need to see alot more and read more on him. I like his size for sure. Sweet spot on that IMO.

This draft is deep in DT IMO. Thats why I have dropped off a little on 1st round DT. I am now thinking a Carl Davis could make it to 47 because all of these other guys rising into 1st round and the draft boards never get the draft status of players right because of needs and GM's.

Seeing how FSU had problems vs the run and they can only come up,with 1:55 of highlights for him I'll pass Ecspecially in the 1st.

Xavier Cooper is my favorite DT that we'll have a shot at with the 14th pick. Think his upside is much higher than Goldman's.

ooooh... i liked him too, not sure if more than Eddie Goldman, I got a lot of reviewing to do... but Xavier Cooper I think would be too high at 14... where do you think his draft status is???

I continue to see a ton of projections for 3rd-4th rounders in the 1st. Just started watching Cooper recently and I like him too but he's a 3rd rounder at best. He's most likely going to go to a 3-4 team though as I don't think he's the run stopper we need in a 4-3.

I don't think that would please him very much.
Cooper said the NFL Draft Advisory Board advised him to remain in school. Beginning this year, that is the only option the board recommends if a player is not projected to go in the first or second round.

Cooper, a three-year starter at defensive tackle or end, led the 2014 Cougars with five quarterback sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss. He led WSU linemen with 37 total tackles.

Cooper did not earn all-conference honors in the Pac-12 after making honorable mention as a redshirt freshman in 2012. The 6-foot-4, 299-pounder said he believes the 3-4 defense employed by WSU did not always let him display his full range of skills.

We'll see where he's rated after the Combine. I expect him to wow some people. I don't know how you can watch the Oregon game and see a 3rd or 4th RD player. It's right up there with Leonard Williams game against Nebraska as the most disruptive game I saw from a D-lineman in 2014 (of the draft eligible prospects). A lot of his damage came against Jake Fisher, who will likely go in the top 3 Rounds. You can see his speed when he's chasing down RB's and WR's 15 yards down the field, or when he's bursting into the backfield, destroying plays.

Check out the play he makes on 2nd and 20 at 4:49 of the 2nd QTR. He covers a lot of ground quickly. He's also great on stunts.

Deep year for DTs, so i wouldn't grab one in the 1st unless you think he's elite and head and shoulders above the others out there.....aka Leonard Williams and Danny Shelton (mixed reviews on him by some - mainly weight related).

I'm going to go watch some tape on these guys.
