he was cut because he lied in the offseason, that is the reason he got little playing time when he came back and why his stats sucked.
He was certainly serviceable but the truth is you cant pull what he did in the offseason and not get cut...

I love Roth, but you just can't lie like he did ... he will prosper in Cleveland... he did make the adjustment to OLB and i would have loved for him to stay... BUT he lied!!!!

I run defense has done pretty well without Roth all yr......Roth is not a difference maker, I wish he was still here but I doubt we will regret he 's not.............
