Just read an article, ESPN says we are the number one loser for the off season. This means Tannebaum is again making bad decisions as he has done with prior GM positions. Or combo of Tannebaum plus others. Or, could it be possible it works out?

That means we won since the last few years when we were the "winners" its turned out terrible.

we already knew this when they hired Tannebaum.... next story please

This really may be a blessing in disguise, one we don't overspend on Free Agents who traditionally underperform from their previous team, and two, it forces us to build through the draft, which is traditionally how great teams are built.

What good does it do to build through the draft if you just let every one of your picks walk as soon as they hit free agency?

Good. We've been signing day champions 3 years in a row now. Now, let's see those gameday results reflect this new approach as well.

Considering the contracts the departed got, just exactly how would you have kept them?

Apparently ESPiN missed that we had a historically bad pass defense last season WITH Grimes, OV, and Shelby.

As for Miller, every season he was on a pitch count to protect his shoulder.

lol at ESPN/CBS/FS/ETC offseason rankings.

Especially after ONE DAY of free agency

Your right we totally should have given OV 85 million dollars, then we would be winners.

Build through the draft . . . Allow 3 of the 4 players in our most successful draft class in a decade to leave.

Oh, you mean the three guys in 5 years in a market that is wiling to give OV near Suh money. Dont sweat it dude. Guys are chasing money and teams have money to burn, we should know better than most as we had been burning it three years straight.

I get the frustration with Miller, he has been a bright spot for two years and 6.5 wasn't breaking the bank (even if it was 1.5 AAV more than I wanted him for) . . . But i am just not that worried about RB and I like Jay Ajayi, so that is my opinion on it. I am ok disagreeing with people on this.

Shelby was a noted head case and Rishard was more luxury than we probably should be investing. Charles Clay got offered stupid money and we replaced him with Cameron, so that was a wash for me. We resigned guys like Pouncey and Jones, and most importantly Ryan Tannehill. We just havent had a lot of success in drafting in recent years to see more of these guys worth keeping.

Do understand, the logic this year is to gain a few high rated compensatory picks in 2017, so we may be getting something for these losses and one year away from the big spender table will do this team a ton of good.
