We wont be drafting a DB in the first...

Well I strongly disagree with you. If Jimmy Williams is still there at 16 we have to take him. WR is about 5th or 6th on our needs list so it won't be that. O-Line could be a pick but I really see us going after secondary help. Come on rookie, don't throw out these lightly opinionated threads out just for the hell of it.
 
The only way we draft a DB is if Michael Huff is there. If not, we'll go OL, OLB, WR (unlikely) or trade down.
 
I have to disagree also. IMO Saban is positioning himself to be able to take BPA or to play some poker (whereas before the offseason, it looked pretty obvious we would be going CB in Rd 1, which could still very well be the case, but how sure are you..?)
 
I think we'll be trading down and getting more picks.
 
The best player that falls to us at #16. How do you know who that will be? You don't, nobody does until that moment arrives. Honestly, if we went wide reciever and gave Daunte another weapon it would be fine with me. Anyone who posts with me knows that I love Sinorice Moss from the U.

dont reply to threads just for the hell of it...The chances of Williams being there are slim and there is a high possibilty that we pick WR in the 1st. The more holes we fill through FA the more a WR makes sense....

oh and you know better? if you ask me you are the one w/out knowledge tahts been on the baord and is talking smack to a NEW member. I dont think saban drafts via NEED but rather BPA. I do see us taking Jackson or a lawson or something instead of DT or DB unless its williams on the board or maybe just maybe simpson who knows. We will prob go the S and CB route in rd 3 adn 4.

i would love it if we got chad jackson.he is going to be special.nou doubt but after him if hes not there id take lawson
