If there was ever a guy I think could pull it off, it's Anthony Weaver. If he succeeds it's very possible he becomes the Leading Candidate for a HC gig, in 2026.

I don't know if anyone in the secondary performed well last year. we had better just start playing a lot of cover 2.For some reason, I'm less concerned about safety than corner. Maybe it's because Holland and Poyer underperformed last year. There's also enough proven talent there, although Grier is taking a chance on Melifonwu staying healthy.
I'm also interested to see what Trader and/or Saunders might add.
Kohou was probably the star of the secondary. Ramsey was actually pretty good, although not as consistently good as in the past.I don't know if anyone in the secondary performed well last year. we had better just start playing a lot of cover 2.
I can say one thing with certainly. Teams are coming out passing against Miami until, or if, this secondary proves itself. Early season may be a bit rough.Very hard to get warm and fuzzy over any of the secondary, it's got disaster written all of over it if Kohou is the best player out there

Exactly how I feel.if we are smart, we should fire McDaniel as soon as we see more of the same in 2025 and promote Weaver and offer him our HC job during the season.
This. a strong pass rush is sometimes the best pass defense. I remember in Jaytay's DPOY season, the secondary looked really rough... until he went on his tear and all of a sudden Renaldo Hill and co looked plenty competent. There's a few veterans available and if we get the pass rush going we should be fine
