uh...just voted for "who's the greatest center in Dolphins history" and based on the results, came to the conclusion that there must be some error in the calculation. Over 12,000 votes and the stats say that people believe Tim Ruddy to be the #2 center of all time (behind Dwight Stephenson) and ahead of JIM LANGER!!!!! And not by a little - 32% vs 11% of the vote. Are we kidding? Ruddy was ok. Langer is a a HOF - I expected the battle to be between him and Stephenson. Tim Ruddy gets 32% of the vote? Either there's a mistake been made, or our "youngling" fans need to check history - Langer was one of the top 10 centers in LEAGUE HISTORY. Tim Ruddy was an "average Joe"... Help!!!!??????????

I just voted for Dwight myself. I know Langer was awesome & was there when I fist became a Fin-Fan, but I think the reason he's "Langering" behind Ruddy is the simple fact that very few Dinosaurs have computers, let alone know how to use them....

You're probably right...the thought is a little scary though. It's makes you wonder if one day when they poll for greatest QB, some clown will get more of the vote than Bob Griese or Dan Marino...

If theres a QB poll, Ill have a tough time choosing between Scott mitchel or David woodly, but Ill be voting 12,000 times for one of them.

I've never seen a center get put on his back more than Ruddy, but he did make a Pro Bowl once. Guess that make him a great player.:D

You don't need help bro. You obviously got it together. Ruddy was a solid center but no where near Langer.

You can't really blame the common fan for not remembering Langer. Ruddy played for so long. And ofcourse there's the young fan base you alluded to.
