() LG Justin Smiley rode the exercise bike for much of the afternoon session, with Brandon Frye surprisingly the one replacing him. Frye whiffed on a block early in the second half on Monday that resulted in a sack of Chad Henne. Frye was playing LT then. Today, Frye pulled and made a nice block on Yeremiah Bell.
() Starting RT Vernon Carey sat out several plays during team drills to get his right wrist taped by head trainer Kevin O'Neill. Carey didn't appear to be too concerned as he discussed the tweak with good buddy Jake Long. Nate Garner stepped in for Carey and worked with the first team.
() Cameron Wake abused Ike Ndukwe, playing RT, a few times. Really like what I'm seeing from Wake lately.
() Several nice throws from Pat White, who seems to be getting his legs under him. White hit Ted Ginn Jr. on a deep square in and came back with a nice out to speedy Chris Williams.
() Kicking competition update: Barth hits from 41, Carpenter from 44. Yeah, that'll solve it.
() Ricky Williams and Joey Porter both sat out portions of the session. Jason Taylor, moved to the right side, bull rushed Ronnie Brown back into Chad Pennington for a sack. Brown then took a playful swipe at JT.
() Channing Crowder blew up the left side of the line to sack Pennington.
() Charlie Anderson beat Jake Long to the outside to force CP into a hurry.
() Nice batdown of a Henne pass by Reggie Torbor on the blitz.

I'm starting to think Pat White is the future not Henne.

They could sign a hobo from the miami streets and you guys would think he'd beat out henne for the backup.

Based on what ?

It's called "fansense" and usually it's based on little to nothing.

I've seen or read nothing so far that would suggest that.
I see a kid that is still very raw and has a lot to learn if he's ever going to be a FT starter at QB in White.
Even the Phins themselves have said that they have to reteach him the position.

As for Henne, he made a few mistakes in the game but who dosen't?
He's still learning himself so the jury is very much still out.

I'm starting to think Pat White is the future not Henne.

The future is now. So that makes the future CP. If CP gets hurt this season, the "now" is Henne. To speculate what might happen next season or beyond in the NFL is extremely futile.

I'm starting to think people did not really get a good view of both players on Monday night. Henne is still the future, but White is starting to pick it up... he will be a great backup for us.
