The almighty bears are playing hosts to the inconsistant phins led by Joey freaking Harrington if Im not mistaken. The miami dolphins came out and phin slapped the crap out of the Nfc favorite bears....in CHICAGO no less. Sunday is a very winnable game and that game was proof in 06.....with Harrington.

yes i remember that game so well. ronnie ran all over that '' great'' bears defense and we forced i believe 6 grossman ints,or was it 6 turnovers total? we won that game like 38-13 and we started a little win streak to get our hopes up, only to lose to the jags like 5 weeks later and we just sank from there. that was a really good game though.

Anything is possible but anything is not probable.

also if anything that game was prob harder bc i think the bears had just beaten either the bills or 49ers like 47-0 or something like that and i remember saying we have no shot. its scarier to play a really good d then a really good o.

Thats why any given sunday no matter what stat sheets say. Human testament is so much more than numbers. Phins seem like a more physical mindset.

Monday night against the Patriots in the middle of their super bowl run?
yup great game, darius thomson 4th and 9 in the endzone. i remember i was only 14 at the time, and we were really bad, but i was going absolutley bonkers. also when aybandejo int brady i also remember going absolutley insane. that was our superbowl sadly that year.

I WAS At That GAME!!!! It was sick... I live in Chicago. And my whole family is bears fans and i showed up decked out and everybody was runnin their mouth, I almost got into a few fights, got stuff thrown at me, I was throwin stuff back... It was GREAT.. and the best part was the pregame tailgating when everyone was talkin about how they were guna kill us and all i said was this... "Remember 1985...?"... And then the POST game tailgating was even better.. Nobody had **** to say... 31-13... That's all i kept sayin...

But as to the point of the post.. Yes, anything can happen, and we are 100x better than we were then against a team that might or might not be as good.. We have just as good of a shot of winning this game as we do losing it, dont let anybody tell you any different...

Yes, but they weren't being led by Drew Brees. The Saints aren't great on defense. But their offense...Wow!

DAAMN!! Chi was ranked #1 in special teams, defense, and offense and 7-0. We were 1-6 and TOOK it to them in their house. Chambers, Taylor, and Brown lit them up. I think Ronnie had his career high 165 yds in that game. Jason Allen got a pick. We forced Grossman into 6 turnovers. I remember the ARI game when the cardinals forced 6 turnovers on the bears and the bears won and Denny Green gave the infamous "we let them off the hook" speech. I said if we force 6 turnovers its a blowout, hence it happened.

The brees to grossman is uncomparable. Grossman up until that game was a tough QB. If your mean now brees >grossman than yes I agree

They key to that game wasn't really containing their offense. It was beating their elite defense to a pulp and pounding hester.
