Week One Observations

Road division wins are a huge deal and despite what some say, NE is a very good football team. So my observation is that if you are unhappy with this win you are an attention whore/ troll.

Tua played really well on the road against a well coached defense, can't ask for much more. Tua had full control of the game outside of maybe 2 or 3 possessions. He looked confident and comfortable.

I dont agree that we subtracted talent on defense. We subtracted some experience but we Gained talent. It will show soon. Holland and Philips will be making their talents felt on the field soon, IMO.

I agree. I think we are clearly a more talented defense than we were last year. Holland, Phillips and Van Ginkel are all more talented than the people they're taking snaps from. And I think the McCourty addition was huge for balancing out the experience loss. He's at least as knowledgeable as Van Noy and plays a more communication important position.
