So I decided I would create a thread just for FinHeavener's to make their week to week picks for the NFL. We can keep records in our signatures, and at the end of each season compare with all the posters who complete all 17 weeks. I know I thought of this a little late, as we are going into week 15, but hopefully we can use this thread for years to come.

IMO, it would be better to just pick straight up who is going to win and not worry with the spread, but we can take a vote on it if anybody wants.

Rules:

1. Straight up picks are to be posted by the game in Red
2. Spread picks are to be posted by the game in Blue
3. All picks for Sunday games are due by 12:45 Eastern time
4. Thursday and Saturday Night game picks are due 15 minutes before kickoff
5. All picks submitted after 12:45 PM on Sundays or after the deadline for TNF and SNF will be disregarded and will not count

***If you have any issues with these rules, let me know and I will tweak them if absolutely neccesary***
 
We can probably get it going the next few weeks. It's definitely a fun idea for next season too.
 
Can we please consider spreads? I help my grandmother pick every week VS the spreads, and it would be benefitial for anyone else helping their grandmothers make a little extra money :lol:
 
Alright do you guys want to go ahead and start our picks for week 15, or do you want to hold off? Personally, I'd like to start right now.

Never too early to start beating everyone on FH in a contest. Already doing it in one of the FH fantsay leagues. :hump:

I have a hard time choosing my picks, and I go back and forth on it, which is why I suck. Last year I average about 9 games correct per week.

If you wouldn't mind, would you post the spreads? I'll post all of the games, but if you could post the spreads that'd be great.

Now all you have to do is copy the games into your post, and then write who will win by them.

I took the Steelers over the Packers because I think they'll get back on track this week. I took the Redskins over the Giants because the Giants aren't impressing and the Redskins have been playing well recently. I took the Dolphins over the Titans because I believe that Tennessee is a huge test, and they want to end our season, but ultimately, we want it more.

Either is fine with me. Probably best to disregard the spreads for now though. They fluctuate during the week. I'll post them again on Saturday and we can go with them.
