The Facts: The Denver Broncos were stymied by the heat and the Dolphins, as they fell 34-10. This marked the first opener win for the Dolphins since 2002.

The Good: The Dolphins just never quit. Up by only a 6-3 at the half, the Dolphins did not protect the tiny lead. Rather, they threw the whole playbook at the Bronco hobbled defense and scored big points in the second half.

The Bad: Five offensive false starts in the first half reminded everyone that the offensive line is a work in progress. Losing the turnover battle 3-2 was not good either, but the Dolphins big plays made up for it.

Play of the game: Jason Taylor's sack, fumble forced and recovery for a TD iced a much awaited victory for dolfans.

Five stars:

Six palyers share the stars:

1)Jason Taylor: read the play of the week.

2)Channing Crowder: #52 proved why he should be starter by making plays all over the field.

3)Gus Frerotte: 24-36, two td's and a pick, not spectacular, but overall he played well enough to keep the offense going .

4) Zach Thomas: Was the force behind the amazing goal line stand before the end of the half.

5) Marty Booker: Five catches for 104 yards and a score. Great job by Marty!

6) Lance Schulters/ Travis Daniels: The two newbies in the Dolphin secondary made two important interceptions.

Nice to see: The fire in the eyes of Nick Saban, even after the Dolphins were up 27-10, he had the whip going; encouraging his players to play hard.
