It was probably interesting to watch Nero fiddle while Rome burned, too...
 
These guys sound like they are working for the government. They have these sophisticated sentences and do not say anything of significance.
 
I wouldn't expect anything from them. And, they may not really have enough ability to be good evaluators to begin with. I don't like them as the brain trust for running the football operations.

They met with Carroll...he said flat out that he wasn't interested..

The search has to be close to the vest in respect to the wishes of the candidates.

They run the business aspect of the operations. They leave the actual football up to people who know football.
 
Its an ongoing process ...there is that word again...so its doesnt look like the decision has been made or will be made in the very near future.
 
they said they were not gonna rush their search. They want to find the right guy.....
 
I'm listening right now, also.

Some people held the opinion that the "drop dead date" for having a HC in place was before the Senior Bowl. I looked at Capers (former HC) and Mueller and figured they could go to the Senior Bowl. I'd rather the team wait till after next week's games to talk to some more assistants than pick a guy who isn't the greatest choice.

Sounds like that's their thinking, as well. So either I have drunk from the same pool of insanity that they have, or that might be the current course we're on...

Looking for a leader...clear vision of what they want to do.....ability to persuade people.......leader who believes its a privilege........to work for a quality franchise..........bla bla bla......south florida is great the stadium is great.
