Weighty concerns surround Andrews

Give Andrews credit for going in the right direction. According to the NFL scouting combine in late February, he was down to 366. On March 31, he showed up at the Dolphins camp at 345 and was 339 last week, his agent Rich Moran said.

This is an old story that has no legs. There is a reason he was that weight.

Yet its still costing him in the rankings. I wonder what his playing weight was. If it was high, that could be what teams are looking at.

He weighed 401 early in January, just after Arkansas played in a bowl game. The word around Arkansas is that on nights before road games Andrews would eat the team meal and then sneak out to a nearby restaurant for two more dinners.

Man likes a good meal or three :)

He's hired a chef and a personal trainer and plans to keep them both throughout his career as a pro.

It's a lot easier to eat right when you have money. Actually, I think Andrews himself said that in one of his interviews.

He'll be fine, let's just hope that scares off other teams. I'm actually hoping he doesn't drop TOO much weight. If he gets down to, say, 320, his stock might go up and he'll be out of our range at 20.

Andrews would be a great pick.

A few months ago he was off mock draft boards by 10.

Now it is likely he falls to us at 20.

If he does, we jump all over him and are set at the tackle positions for the next 10 years. Andrews and Smith will turn out to be a great tackle tandem in the NFL.
