The 9th Annual Finheaven Awards process is under way, the nomination and voting process will begin shortly. It's been one heck of a year for us Dolfans, not only for our beloved Dolphins making the postseason but here on Finheaven as well. Without further ado let's get the ball rolling on a great 2017 for all us. The nominations portion will have Finheaven members selecting their top three choices for the year of 2016 in each category, best poster and person of the year will have five choices. Any further choices after the designated limit will not count, so make your selections wisely. After a 10 day period, the nominations will be compiled and the top choices will advance to the voting process. The following members will not be eligible for the nomination process, so please exclude them from you selections: Fishfanmiami, Buddy, Daytona Fin.

Each winner will receive a badge in their avatar area recognizing the category they won.

Here are the categories for the 9th Annual Finheaven Awards:

Best Overall Poster
Best Political Forum Poster
Best Other Sports/College Sports Poster
Rookie of the Year
Best VIP Poster
Best of the Lounge
Best Draft Forum Poster
News Hound

FinHeaven's HOF.

The equivalent to the Dolphins' stadium Ring of Honor.

I'll nominate DKphin, Albert Romano, and perfect72 for news hound.

I'll nominate hoops, SonsofShula, Albert Romano, kdawg954, DuderinoN703 for poster of the year.

Sorry for anyone I forgot. so many solid contributors to choose from

Edit: Do I have to keep this to three? If so, Romano, Hoops and SOS are my picks.

Sure there have been multiple winners over the years but not as often as you think. It's all about recognizing people who contribute a great deal throughout the year. If you don't nominate/vote the people you feel are deserving then you are not giving them a fair shake so make your nominations, only takes a few minutes. And to add to that all the multiple year winners have volunteered to sit this one out to get more members involved so i don't want any bitching about the same guys every year .

There will be at least 5 new names this year and probably more so get your votes in and be heard.
