Now I am new to this site today, and have been reading a lot of these posts and WOW I am amazed at how many fans are bashing the dolphins? All I read about is poor Daunte :sidelol:, hey guys this is the NFL. As a head coach (no I am not saying I'm a head coach, but..) you make your decisions based off of what will be good for the future of your team? Now what good does just releasing Daunte for nothing do for us? He is worth something and therefor you wait and get something for him. We sure OVERPAID for this guy.

Now this post is for those fans out there that are all for Trent coming to Miami. I know there are a lot of us out there that think this is a great move, so please join me in welcoming our NEW starting QB!!!!!!

I wish him well and good health. I hope he has more success then we've seen at the QB position in recent years.

AMEN to that Brother!..With the all the bickering and vast array of opinions here on who should be at the QB helm..us as fans just hope for success and health for whoever the QB is.

I've been a DC and Trent Green fan for a while now, so I hope for success for the both. Look at recent happenings though. Trent Green went through 2 months of hell with Carl Peterson while Culpepper has only been a backup plan for a couple of days now and he's already thinking about going legal. Culpepper just needs to pack his bags, shut his mouth, and get ready for his new challenge.

As for Trent, I couldn't be happier to have him. He'll bring stability and leadership to our offense that we so desperately need. He won't cost us games with mistakes and can make the big throw on 3rd and long. I'm thrilled to have him and I can't wait to see the offense this year.

He's a good QB and deserves a ring as much as anybody playing today. Hope he gets one with us.

They should symbolically resign Marino and put him on IR when it looks like we have the horses to bring home a championship. He needs the ring, too. :)

I know you're joking (or maybe you're not) but I think that would kind of be a slap in the face. Here Dan, since you couldn't do it, we'll give you one of ours.

Yeah, I was kidding, but it does irk me as it does most Dolphin fans to see lesser athletes walking around with Dan's ring! We had good offenses and good defenses but never both at the same time. In 17 years the only consistency we gave him was a crappy running game.

I'm right there with you. Because of this, Patriots' fans will tell you that Brady is the better QB over Marino which really rubs me the wrong way. Put Marino and Brady in the same offense in their prime and Marino would probably score about 14 more points in any given game. The fact that some would classify them in the same breath really irks me.

Welcome Green to Miami...I think he's gonna help us win some games and I'm happy to have him on our team.

Ozzy rules!!

It's a good move. I'm very glad that they signed him.

I hope he stays healthy. Lemon should be improved from last year, but Green is a very good QB. He's definitely the best QB the fins have had in over a decade..

All those fantasy football buffs who always talk about stats should note, his stats dropped in part because KC's play calling changed when Herme was brought in...
