Welker Article

Its amazing how quickly hes come from nowhere to a total fan favorite. I love the guy. Not just because he does make some amazing plays on special teams, but the guy plays with heart all the time, and look slike hes honestly enjoying the game every minute hes out there. I'm buying a jersey

He doesn't have the speed, size or height. He does however work his height as an advantage, plays with heart and is very very shifty. He's excellent at making people miss. I've seen plays where he should have been nailed after a couple yards and he's made 10-15 out of it. Armstrong's job was saved purely by Welker's play.

the best thing about him is his ability to hide behind the the big boys and find the hole from there. last year was a good example, preseason just backed that up, great returns. In the slot he should be a factor, especially since hes been working so hard on his routes, its payed off. you watch. from day one he will turn heads. We wil be happy we kept him.

Wes quickly became one of my favorite players last year. The fact that he's looking like a darn good slot WR for us this year is just gravy. What kind of freaking kid can have a KR, PR, FG, and extra point in the same game. Sure, none of it's flashy per se, but hell... he's a Swiss Army Wes.

when are the Welker jerseys coming out? he's obviously a fan favorite, and i thought being a fan favorite dictates if you get a jersey or not, right?

anyway, i don't get the "he doesn't have the speed' issue. he seems to out-run everyone on the field when he gets going. just because he's not a 4.20 guy doesn't mean he's not fast...

The jerseys need to come out. I think every serious finfan is a welker fan.

"It's not the size of the dog in a fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog."

Now if this quote don't fit Wes, than I don't know what does.:)

He is a great PR **** he has the all time NCAA record for Punt Return Yards. But I read yesterday that his record is in danger of being broken by Ryan Robinson of Miami of Ohio who is a great as well. He actually went to high school down the street from me.

keep on keeping on Wes
