As a long time supporter of the team, I even classified myself as a bit of a "homer" at times, I always gave the team the benefit of the doubt. "Oh well Chad Henne had a rough start, but I think he's going to develop into a great QB. The tools are there." "We only lost that game by 3 points. I think with a few more pieces, we will be Super Bowl contenders...... Yeah, I know it was the Browns, but STILL only 3 points." But after the past couple days, I think it's time I admit...

I'm beginning to give up hope on this team.

I try my hardest to put on my rose colored glasses, but I just can't anymore. Ross and Ireland have completely ruined this franchise. Not just ruined it, but demolished it. Something is CLEARLY wrong with this Front Office, and everyone can see it except for our organization. Even ****ing Ryan Clark knows there is something severly wrong with this team, but no changes are made.

I'm at the point where I'm just grasping at ****ing straws, trying to find one, ONLY ONE, glimmer of hope. When you have to turn to Alex Smith or Matt Moore, and say "That's my team's franchise QB, and I'm proud of it!", then there's a problem. When there is talk of Tim Tebow coming to Miami, and that's viewed as an UPGRADE... there's a problem.

I understand the Marshall trade. I'm even a supporter of it. But the fact remains that he was our only legit threat on offense. Ross wants to put people in seats? I'm not so sure anymore.

I've tried to deny it for a while now, but our team truly has become a punchline. I mean, how the **** do you go into an offseason, saying that finding a franchise QB is your number 1 priority, and you strike out on EVERYONE? That is a ****ing embarassment. If I was a Free Agent, I wouldn't even give this FO the time of day. I don't want to be viewed as "That sucker that actually went to that team."

Don't get me wrong, I'm still a diehard Dolphins fan. You can bet I'll still be wearing my jersey every Sunday. But it's damn embarassing to see coach after coach, and player after player, turn down offers left and right.

All I ask for is one sign of hope that this ****ed up franchise is finally turning around.

What the hell are you talking about? You were just praising the idea of Alex Smith a few hours ago. Get a grip...

Just when you think we can't go any lower, we find a way. We are in the bottom quatrile of NFL teams. Just time to admit it.

Right. But now even he, even ALEX SMITH, would rather sign with the 49ers unless they sign Manning. Regardless of money

If Smith does not sign with us then I do agree we are still in rebuilding mode which is a shame because our Defense is Awesome and deserves better.

why would he not want to go back to the team he has played his whole career in and was in the NFC championship last year? That is in no way disrepectful to the Phins.

i just dont remember us being this pathetic ever, even with fiedler, feely, lemon, lucas there was always some kinda hope

but like i tell my frfiends who knows maybe we get a good qb in the 2nd/3rd round of the draft like bengals did with dalton, imo hes top 15 and in 5-7 years i feel dalton will be top 10-5, so even if we dont get tannehill theres still hope this draft has depth
