Last night I signed off until FA. Figured it would take awhile for anything to happen. Didn’t think Gase would get the axe, TB is gone, etc.....

I’d say I was mistaken.

And I think (pray) that $teve has had enough, maybe enough to finally take a personal interest in his team.

I’d feel better if TB simply was broomed. But if he’s more or less relegated to non football issues, I’ll take what I can get.

I haven’t been this pumped since 3-0. And for some reason I have more optimism about this than when we were 3-0 and headed to Foxboro.

Maybe a rough year in 2019, but you know what?

Other than 2016, they’ve ALL been rough years. Enough.

I’m on board with this. And I think Grier actually will do what is in the teams best interests.

At the very least, we no longer have to worry about Mike “I Pay Big” Tannenbaum writing elite contracts for average guys.

I came into the year believing Gase and Tannehill would get until 2020 at least.

Tannenbaum is the easy move.

I too am quite happy and have a real sense of optimism for this team right now. First time in a decade to be honest.

What?... Did I miss something?

You do know that Grier has been with this team for over a decade? And had a hand in all the talent we got. You are happy about that? You like dion Jordan and Charles Harris? You don’t think Grier had a hand in that.
Why the optimism? New coach won’t solve ****. Unless your optimistic because they might tank next year and get a qb. Otherwise new coach will be gone in 3 years. The fans will start bitching about him in preseason year 1.

Hey Grier can go to. Read some of my other posts on the GM and FO.

I want a new GM with fresh eyes here, but getting rid of the man baby was a great first step.

Is grier hiring a gm? If he is I find it odd that the coach will be picked then the gm. Don’t you agree? Unless it’s abother guy from the organization . I thought Grier would hire a gm and they would look for the coach. Is that happening ? Serious question. Doesn’t seem like it.

Your rambling homie.

Gase had his goose cooked when the cameras panned over to him on the sidelines 3 weeks ago paying no attention to what was happening on the field. If not for that I think he makes it to 2019 at least.

I seriously think the gm should be hired first. Then coach. Again doing this backwards.

That’s what I thought my man.

I was under the assumption that Grier will remain GM, but is given full control. He now reports directly to Ross and there's no middle man to meddle in his work.

I know when Grier was hired as GM everyone was worried about his lack of experience. I think Ross kept Tannenbaum there as a precaution and with him essentially firing Tannenbaum, he's taking the training wheels off and we will get to see what Grier does on his own. It may not work out, but it's a step in the right direction.
